My boyfriend and I went to Drievliet last weekend, because he needed the creds and I love the park.

It is a small park, but has a lot of quality-rides like a fairly good launchcoaster, two decent familycoasters, an awesome spinning credit, and a really good afterburner. Every ride is themed very well, quite an effort for a small park like this. The attendance was so low, even Formule X didn't get full cars.

It is fun, especially the last turn and the airtime hill. Not worldbreaking, but for a park of this size probably the best available.

I love how the theming in Drievliet makes you laugh.

I remember being so scared on one of these rides in Bobbejaanland I almost cried about ten years ago. Still liked it. The one in Drievliet looks amazing.

A few new rides were added since my last visit. They also announced a (probably small) freefalltower and a indoor hall with a coaster.

The crappy ghost castle.

Dynamite Express might be my favorite powered coaster. It is short, but very smooth. the first thing after the station is a small drop with some airtime in the front.

The Maurer Mouse was okay, not as good as Prater's but far better compared to Hansa's or the one in Holiday Park.

The final coaster is this weird spinning contraption. It is awesome.

Drievliet is a small butt nice park. Entrance is 21.50 euro, what is very cheap compared to other amusement parks in the Netherlands. I also got a reduction of 40% with my Plopsa annual pass.

Since the park was nearly empty we finished it in just over 3 hours and decided to grab the newest Dutch Fair credit in Rotterdam, on our way back to Belgium.

It was crap. I got the "inside" credit before it got converted tot the Wild Mouse XXL, but apparently the big and small one count as 2 different credits. I don't complain. But the ride itself is really disgusting. On the straight sections you get boosted so the car can complete the circuit without a rollback, but you get boosted right before a wild-mouse turn. Auwtch. Never again. Unless it gets an extra turn and turns into a new cred or something like that.

With this ride done, I'm only missing one travelling coaster in the Netherlands, and 4 coasters in total. For some reason I've been to the middle of nowhere to visit Sybrandy's already never to Julianatoren. Something to look forward to actually.

We also rode the crapy spinning Big Apple of which I didn't bother to take pictures off. We got back on the train and arrived in Antwerp around 17u. We made a quick stop at the zoo (we have annual passes because the zoo is freaking awesome), making this day our most overly filled one of this month. Thanks for reading.

Also rip English, sorry about that. I receive complaints in my PM-inbox. I can take criticism and I'm willing to learn.

^ Great report. I thought that Drievliet has banned photography prior to the start of the new season. Glad to see that isn't the case, since I've found it be such an enjoyable little park. I might disagree on a comment or two regarding the coasters (especially about that spinning contraption, which I've found to be nothing but dull), but it was nevertheless an enjoyable read.
That Reverchon spinner does look rather vile. I 'love' how they didn't even bother to paint the new support structure to go with the original one. Eurgh </3 I'm still trying to work out whether that is the one I rode a decade ago when it made an appearance on some local funfair thingy.

I read the same about taking pictures in the park, but when there nobody pointed said I couldn't take pictures. Twistrix has it's good and bad rides, I tend to like small coasters that Spin insanely.

What fair and what year are we talking about? I might be able to help you out.

^ It was in Slovenia, so I rather doubt you can give any help on that. But if it is of any help to you, it was in late 2004, I'm pretty sure it was said the showman who brought it was Dutch and it had a section where the train dropped through 'cat's mouth'. :D

I take back what I said :p.

Good report. I was always under the impression Drievliet wasn't a very nice park, but it looks (and you seem to think its) the opposite. Looks to have a good flat ride collection which is always a plus for me :)

I liked Drievliet too. It's small, but has a bunch of fab rides. Formule X and the afterburner (which is much better than the Giant frisbee I rode today at Bobbejaanland) are very re-ridable and fun in my opinion. Some rides have lovely theming as well, such as the enterprise.

I quite liked the place too - File under "quirky little dumps"...

Maybe the no photography thing is aimed at on ride photography??

Banning taking pics with everyone having at least one smartphone is quite ridiculous isn't it?

I have seen some German fair rides to have posted similar signs. But as long as the midway at German fairs are public walkways - and of course you can always photograph them from the ferris wheel. But so far no ride attendant complained even if I took pics right at the ride...

What a shame about that the XXL spinner. I've been wondering when it would turn up seeing as how Buwalda didn't have it at Easter in Hamburg. Was hoping for good things since the original XXL was so fab. Ohh well, still a +1 I suppose.
