i may be kinda late with this but i only read the thread just now. The oldest carousel in the world is the Hanou Carousel at the Hanau-Wilhelmsbad State Park in Germany.

I can't say I loved the park, although the togo coaster was certainly unique and fun. I'm glad I got in a visit, but I'm curious what sort of harry potter shenanigans will replace it. I do love harry potter...

Such a shame.

Cyclone may not have been the best coaster but it was a classic and the Mack and Arrow coasters that were there are quickly becoming rare.

As much as I love Japan. Outside Disney, FujiQ and Universal it is quickly becoming a wasteland. After being such a coaster paradise in the 80s and 90s it's a stunning decline

I'd add Nagashima to that, but otherwise yeah. I guess Yomiuriland is also doing well on the whole even though they're going in a much more family direction now.
