I'm still totally hooked on gt6. Once you get to the harder championships you need to set the cars up or you are no where it's so good.

I find though get one wheel on the grass and your off it like pulls the car off so you need to be careful.

You done the Nascar races yet? Jesus Christ I was so unbelievably abusive during the Daytona race when the AI kept turning into me.

Not got that far yet, struggling with the classic cars round Monaco cannot find a car that I get round a corner lol.

Took me a bit of time doing the rally and the night races, well the final night race anyway lol.

Once i do that race I can move on to the next lot of races. I might leave it and come back to it when I get more money to get the car I think I need, wasted a load getting the wrong car.

And I've still not seen the Senna stuff :(

I always keep an eye on VGChartz and I find it really interesting that the PS4 is outselling the Xbox One in North America every week!

http://www.vgchartz.com/

If you take a look at the Xbox 360 sales its clear to see North America was it's best market - I saw it as a machine designed by an American corporation for American consumers and others can use it if they wish. I got the same feeling when they announced the Xbox One with all these live features such as fantasy teams in Basketball and the TV integration e.t.c with North America getting first dibs with other markets to come if the demand was there.

However it seems as though the Americans aren't sticking by their 'homegrown' console with this one - I think a lot of it is due to pricing - why isn't there an Xbox One available without Kinect? This would make it more competitive with Sony. Is the novelty of movement/speaking to your console one that has wore thin already?

Has the fact Sony now charge for online subscription give people more faith they can provide a better infrastructure for their online service?

Sony have sold 50% more PS4's than Microsoft have sold Xbox One's (and was released two weeks later in Europe! One week later in N. America!) and if I was Microsoft I'd certainly be assessing the current marketing/pricing strategy they have in place.

Microsoft royally cocked up in all their pre-launch promotions, back tracked massively and just appeared far too stubborn to change anything. Price is by and large the greatest driver in consumer choice as nearly all of the best selling games will be multi-platform. It's only really specialist gamers who care about the finer details imo.

When the PS4 comes out in Japan I expect it to pull away at a canter.

I ending up doing test sessions with the karts, it's all about getting the drivetrain setting right.

Just need to do the licence then I can enter it.

Still could not do the classic race at Monaco lol.

Yes the NASCAR is really hard and you have to stay close to get the draft.

The game does go from easy to hard just like that. It's now a real challenge.

Still cannot use my wheel :(

In other news I'm gutted I can't afford a PS4 yet as really want to play Outlast.

Got a X-Box 360 for my birthday, and I finished Batman: Arkham Asylum. There was a couple cons I had about it, but if I where to tell you it would spoil the game, but overall it is a great game. It's the only Batman game I've ever had (unless you count LEGO Batman), and it reached my expectations, the dialogue was great. I just think it was too dark for Batman, I know it all took place on Arkham Island which is dark but it could have been a little more "colorful". Overall, I give it a 8.5/10.

It's pretty clear that Arkham City is the sequel, I don't know if they ever said it was, but from playing Arkham Asylum it's pretty obvious, I'll be getting that next. I was originally going to get Arkham Origins, but I heard it was pretty glitchy, so I didn't get it. Maybe some other day.

Batman hasn't been "colorful" since Adam West and the 1960's. If you don't like a gritty dark story line, Batman is not the way to go. Superman or Aquaman may be more your thing.

Speaking of Batman, over the weekend a tried a little more of Arkham City. Originally I thought it would be just a bunch of button mashing and watching Batman beat the crap out of everyone. But because "I'm Batman" ;), I'm actually having a bit of fun with it! Glad I started playing it again.

It's dark now but, not since the 1960s!

Arkham City is fantastic, it really is.

See what you mean about the Red Bull challenges Marc, did Spa and Suzuka on bronze easily and quite confident of at least a silver on both if I bothered to hit a clean race.

Yep they were easy, got silver first race at Spa.

No idea why Monza was so hard.

Can see what you mean about the karts, the 125 gear ones hard. It's the last race that gets me.

Problem is I'm now at the 25 min races and cannot be bothered.

Still no senna stuff am starting to think it's not there. No one on any racing forums I'm on have seen it either and we are all near enough complete with the game.

Edit.

Finally found out why I've not found it. It's not there yet. You can buy an outfit but as of yet there are no senna cars. There is a dispute with codemasters and it's delayed it. Like me people have spent ages looking for it.

Arkham City is fantastic, it really is.

There may have been some kid versions of the Bat ever now and again, but they have all had a dark feel. More or less since the Adam West show got cancelled the Bat went back to having a dark undertone. Hell, the 1980's saw some of the darkest story lines in comic book history.

"Starting in 1969, writer Dennis O'Neil and artist Neal Adams made a deliberate effort to distance Batman from the campy portrayal of the 1960s TV series and to return the character to his roots as a "grim avenger of the night."[45] O'Neil said his idea was "simply to take it back to where it started. I went to the DC library and read some of the early stories. I tried to get a sense of what Kane and Finger were after."[46]"

The cool thing about Arkham is a scene very early in the game spoils the ending. There is a painting depicting the iconic finish of Batman and Joker, I believe is of Cane and Able.
