If they get it right I can see it being a really good game.

Really ****ing irritated by the statement on that website:

"A Saw game would sit very nicely alongside Konami’s other videogame nasty, Silent Hill, too."

I struggle to see how shallow torture porn would sit nicely alongside slow-moving story-driven survival horror. Silent Hill 1-3 were masterpieces, the Saw movies are all trash besides the second one, which does have a certain atmosphere to it.

Anyway, an adventure/horror game that is almost entirely puzzle based sounds fantastic... Why oh why are they slapping the Saw franchise all over it?

the only way i could see saw working would be as a series of mini adventure/puzzle games.

i.e.

1) A puzzle game where you have to solve the puzzle to get the trap off your head

2) A point and click adventure to find the saw and cut through your leg.

I've been playing House of the Dead Overkill (cheers, Big John!) on the Wii for a week now.

It's a GREAT 2 player game.

Shame there's no online leaderboards - considering the fact that all you're doing is going for high scores (As the game itself is short).

But that said - usually when there is online high scores - the scores are so beyond my old alcohol ruined abilities that i give up trying.

The new Playfire trophy cards are awesome. Although they've seem to have gotten rid of the slim version I had before so I've taken it out of my sig.

It seems to me that they are just cashing in on a franchise, people seem to be Saw obsessed at the moment, with that in mind it will probably just be really gorey but no actual decent gameplay. In that article they try and compare it to Silent Hill, but will focus more on the gore-factor. Thus it won't be anything like Silent Hill, not story-driven just gore gore gore! Might be worth a quick go but won't keep any real game-players entertained.

^It said rather than going for the suspense of not knowing what's around the corner or if anything is about to happen it hopes to shock players by using so much graphic detail that they will have to look away from the screen in shock.

At least now when Jigsaw says "I want to play a game" you can answer "So do I".

I find it a bit depressing that people can be so quick to judge something people have spent a lot of hard work on.

yes - it MIGHT end up sucking... but give it a chance - Saw- the game MIGHT (Unlikely as it is) end up being the best game of the year

At the moment playing Far cry 2, its an awesome game and im about 60%, but i watched my friend complete it and the ending is epic!!!! Got alot of trophys on it aswell.

I like the game personally, it's good fun, but I'm shocking at it.
