A picture has been floating around the interwebs after Twitter user "Takumi" posted what it looks to be a map of a Studio Ghibli Theme Park which looks really similar to that of Disneyland's. This park would be set in Japan, the home country of Studio Ghibli. The picture turned out to be just a concept. A good one at that.

An online artist, @takumitoxin, recently released an original drawing on his Twitter of what he thinks a Studio Ghibli theme park could look like. While he isn’t the first person to come up with this idea, his ‘park plan’ is one of the most complete and realistic.

What do you think? Can this concept actually become reality? Or stay a concept?

It does look a bit small, especially considering how massive the pirate ship is.

Looks like it could work. Does look very Disneyland-esque, I must say.

I remember when a Disneyland Paris fan made something similar as an expansion of the Studios Park. Made sense as Disney used to release Ghibli films outside Japan. Wouldn't surprise me if this artist is also a Disney goon.

I can't see a park happening. I think if it was going to it would have already happened. Maybe Miyazaki hates the idea?
