During the first day of Oktoberfest two small incidents occured:

On Höllenblitz - a spinning indoor coaster - two trains bumped into each other after the breakrun. 8 out of 30 riders were lightly injured - all were able to leave the train cars by themselves. 6 were treated on site for bruises while 2 were released on the same day from hospital after cautionary x-ray checks. The ride is now closed but may re-open this week after TÜV investigation and clearance.

On Olympia Looping the lift failed and riders hat to be evacuated from the lift. After TÜV was on-site it was deemed that no investigation was neccesary as all security features worked as intended - ie the anti-rollback. After repairs its already running again.

I did OL this year at Vienna Prater were it was €8 a go if I remember correctly.

I have Oktoberfest planned for '25 again after visiting last year. Next year autumn trip will be to EP - you might know for what...
