Haven’t these Skyline kiddie coasters been having problems? I seem to remember hearing something about drive wheels tearing on one of them (don’t quote me on that)?

The one at SFOG is also SBNO, so sounds like more of a design issue.

They’ve both been closed for the last several months while the TÜV conducted a design review (since completed) for Skyline.


Per my conversation with reps at IAAPA last month they’re still waiting for Six Flags to make a go or no go call on the coasters. They’re being heavily advertised and are still seeing interest but are not willing to elaborate on what exactly the issues are.

If I had to guess it may fundamentally come down to two culprits that have visibly broken before on either ride. (April and July respectively)
