All drugs should be decriminalised full stop.
Salvia has never done much for me, in any dosage, found it to be quite disappointing but should not be illegal.
The mass media and political scare mongering regarding drugs absolutely enrages me. Like this BS campaign in the papers at the moment regarding methadone. It's just another moral panic, it's not my thing, but if people want to take it then that’s up to them. The information (real information, not government 'facts') is out there on the net for all to see.
Nowadays I don't touch drugs very often at all, but when I did I had a simple process. If I wanted to try something, I went online; I found out the normal starting dose, I found out the effects, the dangers, the desired results. In short, I did my home work, took the drugs, laughed my arse off and had a great time, usually in the privacy of my own home or a friends.
It's about time people took responsibility for themselves, and stopped listening to our all powerful all knowledgeable politicians and tabloid columnists on the matter.
I also find that with complete and utter failure of capitalism democracy and religion the world over, the "it funds terrorism" debates don't break the skin with me either.
I’ll finish with this quote, I cite it to much, but I love it. "Here is my final point, about drugs, about alcohol, about pornography, whatever that is. What business is it of yours what I do, read, buy, see, or take into my body as long as I do not harm another human being on this planet? And for those of you out there who're having a little moral dilemma in your head about how to answer that question, I'll answer it for you - none of your ****ing business. Take that to the bank, cash it." Bill Hicks
