Hey Guys

Looks like construction of the Beijing coaster is underway. No news on Shenzens yet. Both different layouts as well

Thanks Roomie.

Really interesting to see that. That's either one heck of a steep drop or climb right there. I'll be curious to see how both come out and how original the layouts are... plus if they even work...

Hey

I'm still dubious about that image of the new 4D simply because the number of cars on in the train on the previous image we have seen is wrong and a few Chinese sites have mentioned the Full-Full from the Japanese 4D (after the raven turn) will be replaced with something else.

As for the S&S launched coasters. Both Beijing And Shenzhen will be getting them but with different layouts. I believe the Beijing one will be mostly out over the parks lake. The support system in the picture above is pretty complex.

That drop (on the first image) looks really tight, I really like it!!

Keep the info coming...

If complex = ugly I'm totally with you! I don't understand why not more companies do like B&M and go for as few supports as possible, it can't be that hard can it? It makes the coaster look sooo much more appealing!

Because B&M uses a lip-tight patented manufacturing system to create supports that have a much greater girth than those that other companies can use.

Plus the cost of producing larger supports would make it unattractive to buyers, especially when you aren't B&M.

I personally think it's the angle of the photo. It shows many supports in the same line of sight, so it's going to look complex and messy.

Judging from the banking on the lower supports I would say that drop goes back on itself underneath where it came from. Looks pretty cool!

^ According to what is printed in First Drop, then it won't drop below 50mph between the launch and final brake run, but seeing that first hill, I think it might be hard to achieve 50 mph over that top-hat thing.

RCDB has it listed as 133.6 KPH, which is around 83 MPH.

Fairly obvious that it will launch into that 200 ft hill, into the underwater tunnel and then into the twisty section.

I think thats actually the rise out of the launch rather than the drop. The drop itself is straight and into the tunnel you can see on the model
