I've been subscribed to a drum mag (rhythm) for a few years and i think it's time for a change!
Was wondering if there are any good/regular coaster or park magazines anyone could recommend? I've read a few Kirmes mags, but they're more funfair stuff, which isn't a bad thing but I'm looking for coasters 'n stuff' now :)

cheeers!

I have Park World on my tool bar.

Park World

Has some good stuff sometimes but it's very professional (in the sense that it rarely shows opinion). Also, because of the wonder that is the Internet, every single story written in there is old and yesterday's news by the time you've read the headline. However, it does make a good read, and I especially like the detail of the reviews.

Best of all, it's free!

There is also a more newspaper type publication that deals with Funfairs and so on... It's called World's Fair and I read it a few times. It is a really good interesting read if you like funfairs and travelling showmen.

Thanks, I'll have a look at park world.

I've subscribed on itunes to the season pass podcast too which is pretty good, I get Worlds Fair delivered every week already, best newspaper going :)

Thanks for the replies, I'll have to carry on the hunt for a 'proper' coaster magazine!

You could print off Park World, staple the pages together then post it through your own letter box and pretend it's a 'proper' one?

That's what I'd do. Save money. :)
Theme Park Magazine

That's what I'd do if I was rich.

I can thoroughly recommend the "first drop" magazine produced by the ECC - yiou have to join the club (approx £30-40 for the year), but the mag is very nicely done

^Amen. I'm in the ECC mostly for the magazine. It's great, and Justin typically posts future projects accurately months and years before Screamscape even gets a hint or rumor...

I have a couple of issues of park world. Old ones.

I'm actually surprised there isn't a magazine aimed at the industry (perhaps wider than our particular corner) or amusement parks, fairs, theme parks and so on available in shops. Given the odd magazines you do find in shops for what must be very specialist areas.
