FORUMS - COASTERFORCE
I had an excellent day today at Bobbejaanland, I may write it up, but suffice to say I think Fury is amazing.
I do have a slightly tongue in cheek query. I understand that there is always some debate about what is and what isn't a roller coaster. But I do query why Horse Pedalo at Bobbejaanland doesn't get a listing anywhere. Whilst the ride type is listed generically as a pedal monorail by vekoma, it has a large lift hill. You pedal to the lift hill, then no power is needed. The remainder of the ride then slopes back to the station round a reasonable sized course. It is possible to coast the whole thing, barring perhaps a little pedal power back into the station. The park describes it as a tour ride. But that can't be determinative surely? It rolls, it coasts, it's on rails, it can be done on gravity from the lift hill. Isn't it a roller coaster?
