Does anyone know if this rule applies to all of the Gullivers Parks in the UK were they only admit adults with children only?

You shouldn't have any problems for Warrington. It's the only park that didn't ask (and therefore refuse) me when I went in 2007. Actually, we had a Live there then, and nobody had any problems getting in. They appreciate that T'Antelope is a "big" coaster and will draw in people like us.

They were strict at Matlock and Milton Keynes though.

Do what Tom/Shockwave did - email/call the park before going and explain that you're visiting the country, are an enthusiast and they'll probably get somebody to escort you around the park.

^They were strict with us in Warrington that same year...? It may just be luck and different days.

Hmm, on both occasions I had no problems. Then again thinking about it, although I was paying separately, I did go in with a group of furies and Hankinsons, where there were four children. Maybe that's why I had no problem.

Just stick close to a family!

I do recall the till bint at Warrington say to me "Do you have children" to which I replied "no" as I shoved the correct entrance fee towards her and smiled sweetly. Who could resist that?

Thanks for the info guys. :)

It was Warrington too we were thinking of visiting, so I will try and contact them first and explain that I will be travelling over to visit. I will beg a bit and see what happens. I didn't want to risk turning up and then getting refused entry.

@Ben - I think the only reason that they were strict with us was because they couldn't let anybody under the age of 16 in without someone over the age of 18.
I know that I had just turned 15 a few days before, yourself and Jake were 17 and Richie was 16.

Though they were pretty lenient in the end and said that they could just pretend that one of us was over the age of 18 and just told us to behave ourselves while there.

But Emmett, you should be ok with Warrington, the others I can't really comment on considering I've not done them either. As Ian said, best to phone them up before going and see what they say.

^^Ahhh, I had forgotten that was the problem Rach, you are quite right!

^How many people do you honestly think would go to the parks without a kid without being either a sad git like us, or a pedo?

Thats a fair chunk of the market lost, oh well, something must be working for them if they're in business.

They're getting the market that they want by doing it. It promotes a family atmosphere and keeps scumbags out of the park. After going to Twinlakes with Family Furie I can totally see why parks put that sort of rule in.

I've never had a problem getting into Gullivers at Warrington, and went I went with Nadia to Matlock a few years back we were let in just fine.

Milton Keynes required a phone call and a guide around the park to ride the coasters (that's all I wanted to do), but they did let me in free and get me on the coasters no trouble. You might not get the same treatment I did, but I was prepared to give the park a bit of money as that's only fair.

^ , they certainly looked after you that day Tom. That was nice of them to escort you around and let you do the coasters.

I will see what happens after contacting them, maybe I might get lucky.
