Hi guys. Sorry if this has already been mentioned anywhere, but while I was scrolling through yesterday's Screamscape news update, I found this very interesting piece news about the Mall of America in Minnesota:
Screamscape said:
Mall of America News - (11/2/18) According to the local news plans are now moving forward to build a massive indoor waterpark at the Mall of America… one that could end up being the largest indoor waterpark in the USA. If they go ahead with it the project could cost up to $250 million to build and feature a 250,000 sqft indoor waterpark experience. Look for it to be placed by the MOA’s North entrance, east of IKEA in a space currently occupied by a parking lot, with construction possibly to begin by late 2019 in order to open by 2021.
Sounds very exciting to me! The Mall of America will certainly be an attractive option for enthusiasts from 2021!

Kinda surprised they wanna try and compete with the already established Waterpark of America right down the street from the mall.... (oh, doing a quick search, WOA has become a Great Wolf Lodge in the years since I visited in 2010) https://goo.gl/maps/S99p2JDabjv via sat view its still branded as WOA
Although if they do go for worlds largest, it should be rather impressive.
