Loudest chain lifts?

Yeah, Nitro's loud, especially when it first engages the lift. Very loud when you're on the stairs next to the bottom of the lift.

Then again, nothing can be louder than an Arrow lift hill. Classic coaster sound right there.

Firehawk at Kings Island is ridiculously loud. It sounds more like a jackhammer on a thick plate of steel.

I would say Big Loop at Heide Park but I heard it had its engine replaced years ago - before you could hear its roaring even at the Rafting site of the park.

I could hear GASM at SFGreatAdv pretty much halfway acoss the park.

But Canyon Blaster at the Adventure Dome is def my winner.

Nitro's is very loud, but the winner is Arrow!

I've found Arrow suspended coasters to be rather loud.
