No specific topic for London attractions - so here is one. :--D

Visited today for the first time in 2012, and noticed some changes for the new year.

London Eye - New Samsung touchpads of which there are four in each capsule, giving information about landmarks visible from the wheel.

Madame Tussauds - Some new models - including a Pirates of the Carribean scene in the Hollywood section of the museum.

London Aquarium - The shark walk section has now been moved to the entrance, and much less attention is drawn to it. Also, it is no longer optional, as you have to walk across it to get into the aquarium. The 'photo scene' at the entrance has also been changed. A large section of the aquarium (where the 'shark watch' used to be) has also been done up with new colours and signage. And, for some unknown reason, the glass of the penguin enclosure is now tinted red.

London Dungeon - New for 2012 is 'the plague doctor' - who is played by a live actor. Also, for Valentine's Day, they had 'The Kiss of Death' booth - a donation of 50p to kiss a 'plague-infected' woman.

A pretty good year for London, really. Any thoughts?

Is that the bit where like, there's a body on a table and the actor dissects it and there's a pumping heart? Because that's not new...

^That's "Autopsy".

I'm sorry, but in this day and Age, kissing booth's are SO wrong. The amount of mouth-bourne diseases people carry are horrific, even if it's not a real person and people kiss a mannequin, cross contamination is LETHAL.

If you don't actually KISS the person/model, I'm happy! ;)
