Inspired by CrashCoaster's thread about Screamin' Swings, I decided to start this thread - you ask something, and hopefully a CFer will answer! Given that there's so many of us with experience working in or on rides, I think it'd be a great way to educate the community and the younger generation of thoosies & fans about our favourite attractions. I'll start:
Flying coasters - couple things, specifically dual-stations and the restraints. What are the operator and station host panels like? I've seen Galactica's host panel, but I can't for the life of me make out what it says on the operator panel.
Also, flying coaster restraints. What parts behind the seat move? What parts don't? Where are the sensors? How are the flaps connected to the harness' motion? So many questions!
