Hossoland | Poland | Theme Park | 2025

Giga Poster
A presentation was made today unveiling Hossoland, a major new theme park to be built in Brojce, Poland. They're planning to use a 40-hectare site, divided into 4 lands containing 50 attractions, and be open for as soon as Spring 2024. They're hoping to draw around 1 million guests annually, which shouldn't be too hard considering that Energylandia is nearly 7 hours away.

Fortunately, Hossoland is no Storyville Gardens or London Resort, as they've come a long way since development began in 2017. The main investor is Hosso Holding, best known for developing shopping centers and who have financial backing secured. They also have Daniel Heinst on board, a man best known for steering forwards other Polish park projects such as Legendia, Majaland Kownaty, and Mandoria. Jora Vision has been heavily involved in park design. Land has been cleared and ready for construction.

On the rides side, Vekoma allegedly had reps on hand at the presentation with Mack Rides and WhiteWater West also involved to a considerable extent. You can already make out an STC and a water coaster in the concept artwork. I would anticipate that we may hear more at IAAPA next week. Can't wait to hear more about this!

Go on Poland! Sounds like they've got a good team and board and will look to avoid doing what Energylandia did in the early years.

Looks a good location for the Polish people with a large catchment area. May be a pain to get to though from elsewhere in Europe.

Incredible! Only issue is that this is a 1 hour drive then a 7 hour ferry followed by a 1 hour drive. Takes me 8 hours to get to this park and I am still one of the closest to it of all of us. I live geographically only about 250km away.

I live close to the ferry that goes to Swinoujscie. Seems like they want to draw people from over the German border moreso than the rest of Poland (it's six hours from Warzaw and four hours from Gdansk, but only three hours from Berlin). It's a bit off the beaten path if you're heading in that direction, though. Adequate public transport I could see be an issue.

Looking at Energylandia, there are surpassingly few German visitors. I would have expected more due to EL's proximity, low prices and high quality. All the visitors are mostly Polish. Legendia is the same. Wonder how Hossoland will attract German guests and compete with parks like Hansa, Heide and Plohn. I sincerely with them all the best, I truly want to see this park succeed.

Energylandia is nowhere near the German border, though. It's a five-hour drive from Dresden alone, and seven hours from Berlin. They might as well cross Germany and go to Phantasialand/Movie Park in that same amount of time. Hossoland would be much closer to most of Eastern Germany.

We haven't seen the two coaster drawing before.

To me the the left one looks like a launch coaster with 2 across trains. Probably Intimin, Mack or Vekoma. Could also be B&M Surf. This is a smaller scale coaster, similar to Formula at Energylandia.

The right one looks like an insane hyper (or close to hyper) with inversions. Gives me Soaring with Dragon vibes. Could also be Mack considering the Thorpe project.

There is also the invert and water coaster that we have seen before.

Weird that they aren't showing off the Blue Fire clone with these latest concepts. Maybe that is scrapped and replaced with the insanity to the right? I hope so. Maybe the smaller launch coaster is the evolution of the red coaster on the park drawing?

I meant this one

But it could be a placeholder for the one you refer to in the concept pictures...

They're very basic supports for a Mack, I don't know how accurate supports would be in a concept like that, but they certainly look more like Vekoma to me.

Anyway, my point was that there are 4 coasters in that image, and only 3 have been mentioned here...
