Holiday World 2012 Swing Ride

In the latest Amusement Today edition, there was an article about the removal and paul reveres midnight ride. Also apparently Holiday World will add a 65 foot swing tower next year.

Ugh, not another one of these, it's even worse due to it's smaller height. Does anyone find these Star Flyer attractions really DULL or is it just me?

I don't find them dull at all. But that's probably because they scare the heebie jeebies out of me. The one at Oktoberfest scared the crap outta me.

I quite enjoyed the one at hansa park....

Haven't Holiday World got a TINY shot tower too? It's almost like they have a restriction, until you see Voyage...

To be fair Voyage is in the bottom of the valley, maybe the park don't build taller rides in the Christmas or 4th of July Area's to try to keep the noise down for the rest of the town, or maybe they prefer the water tower to be the focal point.

I never rode anything in the 4th of july section but from what I saw walking through it and looking on the website the area could do with some newer attractions. I personally like the swing rides and I don't think it's a bad choice at all.
