it's been already two months ago, but I went to Foire d'Arras (which translates to fair of Arras I guess) by train because I needed the creds. Yes, unlike others who keep on making excuses about not being a "creditwhore", I actually admit it.
The trainrides where long, but cheap enough. If I remember correctly, it took me about 3.5 hours to get from Antwerp to Arras, which is about the longest I'm willing to travel for crap credits. When I'm travelling alone, like I was that day in May, I like to read a lot so the time isn't exactly wasted.
Arras is a city in one of the most disgusting regions of Europe, but it was fairly nice. The foire used to be located on this square, but I guess it became to big (the foire ofcourse, the square didn't grow. At least I think.)
Nowadays the fair is located next to a Quick (French Mcdonalds), which is nice. It was a ten minute walk from the station. I spend a few hours waiting in the Quick, because French fairs are crap and never open on the right time you can find on the foire's websites.
The main reason to visit the Foire was this piece of crap. I never had the chance to ride a Toboggan before, and I kinda hope I will never have again. Ops were rude, the seats were way to small and the drops are vile. I'm glad I finally did one of these, but I don't understand why they were once a populair ride.
The other coaster was a Big Apple, a far more enjoyable ride. Ops were equally rude though. Big Apples are great rides for kids and retard coasterhunters like me.
There was an actual Apple, but it kept felling off it's support. I filmed an onride, something I only do when I believe the coaster doesn't have one already. Don't expect amazing footage:

Just kidding, the footage IS amazing!
There were a bunch of other rides, but most off them were still closed when I left, because French Funfairs are that way. Except for Lille and Paris and maybe Metz, they are ugly, over-expensive and in general just crap. Some more amazing footage:
I believe this is in Walygator now
Tomorrow I will go to the nearby city of Douai, where I hope to ride two equally crapy credits. If anyone is interested I will post another Trip Report with amazing footage.
