Energylandia's Future Additions

I know this is slightly off topic, but does Energylandia have a Fast Track-type system?
I have seen a picture, where a fastpass system was seen for Zadra, that has been added in this off season. It has a Western Camp logo on it, so it might just be for people staying there, remains to be seen.
Considering their dispatch speeds, which werent great when we visited, I hope they don’t add a paid option.

Not related to energylandia as such, but if Duda gets re-elected it could have a massive impact on tourism to Poland, and energylandia could receive far fewer international guests as a result.

Edit: the link doesn’t seem to work, so I’ll paste the article below:

Poland’s president Andrzej Duda claimed on Saturday that “LGBT ideology” was “more destructive” than communism, as the central European country heads towards a bitterly contested presidential election.

Speaking at a campaign event in Brzeg, a small town in the south-west of the strongly Catholic country, Mr Duda, who is backed by the conservative-nationalist Law and Justice party, said he agreed with another politician from the ruling camp who said that LGBT “is not people, it’s an ideology”.

“The generation of my parents did not fight for forty years to kick the communist ideology out of schools . . . in order for us to now accept that another ideology should arrive, that is even more destructive for people,” Mr Duda said, describing the LGBT rights movement as “neo-Bolshevism”.

We have our tradition. We have our culture that is based on over 1,050 years of history . . . We won’t allow [Poland] to be taken away from us. We won’t let any ideology, neither communist, nor socialist, nor any other take it away from us, because this is our identity. And let no one try to lead our children on the wrong path, because we won’t allow it.”

Mr Duda’s comments come two weeks before the first round of what is likely to be a close race between him and the liberal mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski, who has been supportive of LGBT rights and emerged from a field of 10 candidates to become Mr Duda’s nearest challenger.

Poland does not legally recognise same-sex partnerships, but in recent years attitudes towards LGBT rights have begun to shift. One poll last year found that 56 per cent of respondents were in favour of civil partnerships, and 41 per cent backed same-sex marriages, both record highs.

However, especially in smaller towns and rural areas, more conservative values still hold sway. And just as it did before the European and Polish parliamentary elections last year, Law and Justice has sought to use the LGBT rights movement — which it portrays as a product of foreign values inimical to Polish traditions — to rally its conservative base ahead of the June 28 presidential poll.

Earlier this week, Mr Duda signed a declaration in which he pledged to “protect children against LGBT ideology” and ban the “propagation of LGBT ideology in public institutions”.

His allies have gone further. Joachim Brudzinski, the Law and Justice MEP who is head of Mr Duda’s campaign, tweeted earlier this week that Poland was “most beautiful without LGBT” while another Law and Justice MP, Tomasz Rzymkowski, last week tweeted a cartoon comparing same-sex marriages to a marriage between a man and a goat.

Mr Duda’s comments drew criticism from opposition politicians. Robert Biedron, a rival presidential candidate and Poland’s first openly gay politician, called on Mr Duda to “finish with this hate”. Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, from the leftwing grouping Lewica, urged the LGBT community to ignore Mr Duda’s words. “LGBT are people. What the government is doing is inhuman,” she tweeted.

Donald Tusk, Poland’s centrist former prime minister, also criticised Mr Duda, tweeting that “The President of the Republic should take care of its reputation. Andrzej Duda is doing everything to ruin it. His campaign is an embarrassment in front of the whole world.”

Mr Duda hit back, calling Mr Tusk a “coward” for not running against him, to which Mr Tusk replied that he had been interested in running against Mr Duda’s “superior” — a reference to Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the founder of Law and Justice widely regarded as Poland’s most powerful politician”.

Purely from an enthusiast point of view, I’ve heard people saying they won’t visit because of this, and I don’t blame them... It’s just so backwards, in a country that in many other ways is moving at a fast pace.

The fact that the majority of Polish public surveyed are in favour of same sex unions is a good sign though :)

What I find so backwards about it is that not only were Jews and LGBT put into concentration camps by the nazis, but Polish people as a race were singled out by the nazis to go into Auschwitz.

What happened at Auschwitz is so incredibly tragic and really quite moving. It’s a pretty tough few hours for those who are interested in visiting the memorial. Surely as a country Poland would have learnt from that, that discrimination against anyone due to their religion, race or sexuality is not ok?

It is so incredibly backwards that Duda is even allowed to be president making these kind of comments, and that he even has supporters backing him. As a gay man, who is also half polish, it’s incredibly tough hearing that a country you have relatives from has a president who is actively promoting that being LGBT is not ok.

It’s a really difficult one, I enjoyed my trip to Poland last year. But this really does make me hesitate when thinking about going back there.

Anyway, sorry it’s slightly off topic, but I just thought that the fact that the prime minister is actively discriminating against diversity and allowing people to be themselves could really impact on tourism, and could put energylandia in a worse economic position in the next few years (if Duda gets relected)

EVERY person on the planet should be made to visit Auschwitz! It is a life changing experience... How anybody could visit there and ever turn a blind eye again is beyond me!

The best thing I ever did that I NEVER want to do again :/

I haven't visited here for a moment ?

Fast pass
They are for Western Camp visitors only (only one time, for Zadra, Hyperion and Mayan)

Election's
I personally hope that Duda won't get re-elected... (That's 50/50 chance), So that every person, regardless of their orientation or race, would feel invited and safe in our country. Duda said those horrible things about LGBT people day before 80th anniversary of first transportation of people to Auschwitz and thats just sad... I'm genuinely sorry for the president and the government.
Unfortunately the problem is not only the president but our government, and society... I think we need to wait some more time for people to change their minds about a lot of things (like lgbt community for example). Its getting better and better each year but slowly.

Anyways... I hope every person that visit Energylandia and our country will fell happy and safe. Happy pride month ?️‍??

And now some pics from Jora Vision ( little info, Marek Goczał, owner of the park said that opening of Aqualantis can be shifted on 2021 season. It will depend on number of guests, financial status of the park )

Interesting. I don't think it would be a major problem for the park if they did delay it until 2021, but equally I guess the park have shown they don't mind when in their 'season' they open new rides (Zadra was August I think?). The most important thing for Aqualantis I think is getting the theming right and showing the direction the park can go in that sense.

Do you know when Aqualantis was originally planned / hoped to open before coronavirus became a thing? Even with how quick the park was working, it certainly seems like they were months away!

I guess they wanted to open Aqualantis on July/August because it's water themed zone. I don't think they will shift the opening for 2021 season but I think the owner wanted to not be surprised if Aqualantis didn't opened in 2020. We all hope that they finish it in this season ;)
