Airtime hill

What is the equation for a parabolic airtime hill which would give exactly -kg negative g's and taken at v m/s? Is there any easy way to derive one?

I looked it up on wikipedia and it looks too complicated...

The easiest way would be to use an advance calculator or computer program to simulate the shape for you.

I found this ace lecture on airtime that really shows what calculations you need to do, nothing super hard or anything, but you would need a graph able calculator...

Clicky!!

Cheers. The question was mainly so I could try and make the perfect airtime hill on no limits, but I got one pretty good anyway.

It looks like really interesting reading though so thanks!

Well you could use my Parabola I have in the NL shaping aids, and just tweak the height of it to get the force you want, it's what I do to do mine...

Nah but thanks - I just use trial and error, besides, I'm not that great at NL, so making the perfect hill isn't essential until I can claim that the rest of the track is ok.

Also I didn't create this topic in no limits section because it was more I wanted to know just out of being a maths nerd...
