Yeah, thankfully all the coasters have opened now as most were down for wind earlier. They definitely need more filler rides like the retro squad that can operate in wind.
With the film crew it was fine on the rides, duct taped selfie sticks and all, but when I rode stuff after they left us they wouldn't even allow the trapped up mic under my shirt!
Wishful thinking, but do we know what happened to Rocket from Furivik (aka the old Black hole), I heard it was getting refurbished after it was removed, could this be it?
I think you need special permission, and that probably requires communication in Japanese. When I went I ended up on a Japanese TV show and they were able to obtain permission to film on rides. Despite the strict loose item policy, this ended up being with gopros on short selfie sticks duct...
I believe parc asterix have had their most successful year this year with the addition of toutatis. I don't think they were exactly faking before, but they have had record attendance
A complete joke. At least they didn't list a closed ride as one of the winners this year. They couldn't find more than 3 new shows to include in a category though.
Just been at the ECC trip this weekend and Megafobia is running fantastic! Night rides were something else entirely. It's definitely a front row ride for me though, the airtime is amazing.

Having thought about it, one interesting way to remake the ride would be with transparent OLEDs for the windows. This is the same technology used for the raptors chasing the train in the velocicoaster queue line, and could be used for some really interesting effects - frost on the window, hand...
I like how they capitalised #VISIT in their second post after people noted the spelling mistake on the first #Vist. Can't they edit tweets?
I'll be interested to see what they do with the ride, I don't think screens for windows would work that well though, as for horror it kind of needs to be...

Looks like it's going to be dismantled. Interestingly the article says "There has been no announcement on whether The Ultimate, which...
