You know you're CF-ing it too much when...

When you look down from a high building floor and see the tops of cars and trees, and it reminds you of looking down from a lift hill.

    Upside Down Coasters?

Good enough g-forces will "plaster" you into your seat throughout the inversion (at least with the classic vertical loop), so if you close your eyes the entire way, in a way you won't actually feel like you're upside down. As for a slower inversion with hang time, just think of it as good...

    Favorite Coaster Element?

Haven't experienced any pretzel loops yet. :-| But I found these pretty cool: The heartline rolls on Volcano, The Blast Coaster. Quick launch sections on TTD, Maverick and Xcelerator. The (intense) downward helix on Goliath @ SFMM. And needless to say, huge drops and airtime hills.

Re: What Is The Smoothest and Roughest Coaster You've Been O I've only ridden 50 but out of those.. Smoothest = Griffon; roughest = Hurler @ KD.

    Rank the B&M Hyper coasters

Re: The best B&M Hyper coaster. If Leviathan is ever to be called a hyper, then Millennium Force and I305 are megas and the term "giga" goes out the door. Just technical terminology though.

Which coasters have the coolest looking trains?

Not really for art/paint jobs, but Skyrush. Cool concept with the train design.

Can you diagnose my coaster related illness?

Kinda like the "falling" feeling you get after riding an elevator? Strange it would occur to you hours later though. About the inner ear thing, I think that would have more to do with balance coordination and not sensations of weightlessness but don't quote me on that. There's also this thing...

    Apollo's Chariot Re-Creation

So basically you can "trace" the outline of geometric scene objects. Nice, but it doesn't seem to have the kind of spiral found on Apollo's helix. Thanks anyway. :-)

    Apollo's Chariot Re-Creation

Hey guys, been awhile I know. A lot of things with my personal life has slowed the progress of this, but I'm still working on it. As a side note, it recently dawned on me why some parts of the ride, especially the helix, were so hard to "get right". The likely culprit is the chaos theory. First...

    Gemini or Colossus?

Not "only". I'd say there are more major similarities than differences. I wouldn't go as far as to say that. 1) Conceptually, their layouts are similar; 2) Agreed, 3) Trivial point to make considering that Gemini could run only one track as well or Colossus with both. Agreed, comparing these...

    Gemini or Colossus?

Yeah, sort of a complement for mind-blowing stuff like Maverick, TTD and Millennium Force. ;-) HORRIBLE!? Wow, would hate to hear your opinion on Mean Streak. =O Airtimeless? Not really. Slow? Funny, cause that's pretty much the 2nd half of Colossus.. Apples to oranges? Not really, considering...

Best headchoppers, footchoppers, close encounters etc.

Seriously? You guys actually hit supports? Hard to believe. Seems this would violate some sort of safety regulation. Unless you're going super slow while hitting them.

Best headchoppers, footchoppers, close encounters etc.

Which coasters are the best for making it seem like you're actually going to hit surrounding structure or objects? And during which part of the ride? Notable ones off the top of my head: Apollo's Chariot - Tunnel at bottom of 2nd drop. Gemini - Both headchoppers at bottom of first and 5th...
