This Twitter post - I've discovered it over on the Legoland Florida thread - confirms this will indeed go forward as initial plans suggested. So no Minecraft for Legoland Florida.
Main difference seems to be a different position of the helix in the south.
Edit: It seems the master plan from back in 2021 already showed the current layout rather than that from shown concept art from 2022.

It says in the permits the outdoors section would make up roughly a quarter of the track, so I didn't expect that much more, to be honest. The section before the first launch seems to be a dark ride section. If that's well executed, this could still turn out pretty solid.
Edit:
Concerning...
It doesn't draw in the crowds that California does. However, they have seen the biggest investment of any Legoland park in recent years (including world premieres for Lego Movie World and Peppa Pig Theme Park) so Merlin definitely sees some potential here. Given the popularity of the Minecraft...
I'm pretty pleased. There's a lot of design elements they have never used (the studs on the rooflines and atticas, the green roofs, the 3d planks, the sculpted trees look amazing) and overall, there seems to be more variety in terms of typologies and room types than I had expected.

LEGOLAND Billund will receive a LEGO DUPLO PEPPA PIG area in 2024, while the currently under-construction Peppa Pig Park at the Legoland resort in Germany will also feature LEGO DUPLO PEPPA PIG theming. LEGO will also feature a line of Duplo Peppa Pig products.
Merlin press release
LEGOLAND's 2025 project (first posted here) will be a LEGO Galaxy-themed land featuring a launched indoor coaster, a Huss Airboat flat ride and playscapes as reported by Parkfans and Screamscape.
The new land will replace the current driving school and junior driving school at LEGOLAND...
Well, I do enjoy the boldness of the font. And I do enjoy how the font and the colour palette both scream 1979 to me, which is a nice nod to the park's roots.
That's what's really bothering me about this.
Merlin have just announced what sounds like a mere retheme of and some new ride vehicles for the Safari and Fairytale Brook. A "reimagined" Dino Dig Area will feature Meet & Greats. The rethemed land will be called Dino Valley and will open in spring 2024. So it seems that the 2025 project went...
