    Orlando PTR - September 2016

Great report so far peep! You seem to spot all of the small details at parks that I tend to miss, love reading the detail in your reports. And the point you made about the audio at Disney, totally agree. Frank and I actually commented on quite a few rides that the sound quality was really bad...

IOSH Article on the Safety of Amusement Parks

Someone at work pointed me in the direction of this article that was recently featured in the IOSH Magazine (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) It mainly focuses on fairgrounds but there are a few mentions of the recent incidents at Alton Towers and M&D's. Thought it would be worth...

    CF-Live Dates 2016

Yayy, I should be able to get enough money together for Alton. The fireworks looked amazing last year. If anyone needs a lift / has a car space then let me know, I'll be travelling up from London/Kent.

What was the first ride you rode no handed?

Probably something at Thorpe Park, so Colossus or Nemesis Inferno. Felt so hard lol, although these days I actually prefer to ride holding on.

    Kolmarden Trip Reports

So glad I ended up coming along to this trip after all. I think if I hadn’t, and with everyone’s social media updates over the weekend, I would have cried. Big thank you to Ian for the organisation and for the perks and to Sue for doing some pretty tiring drives. I know Liseberg and Grona...

Chessington World of Adventures Vs Paultons Park

Chessington has been going downhill recently, but it's still better that Paultons IMO. If Paultons continue to make good investments like Lost Kingdom then they could overtake, but for now I prefer the rides at Chessie.

El Condor. Dreadful in every way.

What was your first coaster to feature an inversion?

I love how everyone remembers the year too, so goony! Corkscrew @ Alton Towers in 2002

    Launches: Rolling or Standing Start?

Really hard, but I went with rolling launch. Standing start is amazing, don't get me wrong. They're a complete adrenaline rush, and nothing makes my heart beat like sitting there waiting for it to go. But there's only 1 coaster which ever really takes my breath away and that's Stealth. The...

    The TV we watch...

I thoroughly recommend Stranger Things which has recently been released on Netflix. Only half way through the first season but it's so good!

What exactly does being "basic" mean?

Re: What exactly does being "basic" mean? Someone with no ambition to do anything outside of their comfort zone, and who lacks any originality and follows the crowd. That's my definition, both in terms of coasters and the general sense of the word. Not that I see anything wrong with it though...

    Airplane Seats

Depends how long the flight is. On shorter flights I'll go for the window cause I do like to watch the view outside. On longer flights though I'll choose an aisle seat as I go to the toilet a lot and I hate the thought of constantly bothering someone.
