Hulk both times has disappointed me. First time because it was one of those coasters that i'd known about pre-enthusiast days and so i'd always wanted to ride it. It was rough and underwhelming. Then 2nd time I was hoping it would be smoother with the new track and instead I got so much...
Wow Dan you're a legend!
Since my boyfriend is taking an indefinate hiatus from theme parks, can I apply to become a honey? :p
lol in all seriousness though, fab report and glad you all had a good time!
This isn't necessarily in any order but just some I can think of off the top of my head.
1. Shambhala - I know this is my number 1 but im dying to ride it again and should be later on this year. It's the coaster that kind of got me into the whole enthusiasm thing and I just remember it being so...
Yea I did get a good photo of it but didn't see any fountains working - i'll post it later as I can't at work.
EDIT - figured it out!
This was taken at like 6.30 though once everything was closed. The detail is incredible, reminds me a bit of the Tree of Life.
They are huge, but no I didn't do them, they had a bit of a queue and I couldn't be arsed when i'd been spoilt with walk ons all day aha.
Thankss, it's such an easy trip, do it!
@SilverArrow are you gonna do just the 2 live dates or extra as well?
I was planning on driving over there but haven't really organised anything yet as it seems everyone else is flying and I don't really fancy doing all the drives alone.
I think most people do that when its a coaster with a common name (I just forgot!). It's in my signature anyway so it's not hard to figure out.
Very good! That's what surprised me the most about it, that there was so much airtime when I wasn't expecting it, on the hill you mentioned and there's...
Having visited at the weekend I completely agree with your thoughts on Gruffalo Serena. When even 6/7 year olds are pointing out the cardboard (it's really obvious in the queue as your about to board) then it does make it seem really half-arsed.
I've always had a soft spot for Chessie but can't...
A few that people have already mentioned but the ones that stand out for me are -
Wildfire Zero G Stall - Just the weirdest element ever, how can you be upside down but getting airtime at the same time. It's so surreal that it seems to go in slow motion.
Stealth's Launch - You'd think i'd be...
Probably a 6 or a 7. Nearly all of my holiday's that I've been on as an adult have revolved around theme parks in some way or another although now I am starting to get an urge to do some other stuff.
I keep a count and include anything that's listed on coaster count including powered coasters...
So because it blew me away so much, I've decided to slot Superman into my top 10 :).
1. Shambhala
2. Wildfire
3. Helix
4. EGF
5. Katun
6. Silverstar
7. Stealth
8. Nemesis
9. Superman
10.Balder
Bit late, but I just caught up with properly reading this and Gavin I think with each report you do you make my bucket list of places I want to go to longer and longer! I don't think I could ever get bored of all those gorgeous sunsets :emoji_heart_eyes:.
Ahhh I love a Florida report! I completely agree with what you've said about Gringotts - I also expected the coaster parts to be much more substantial but still it works very well as a dark ride!
I said this after the first time I visited but there's always so much being added that the...
I think so yea. She had a really good time at the parks - she finds the whole coaster obsession quite fascinating and is always asking me questions about it. I don't think she'll be keeping a count or signing up to a forum any time soon but I think she'd definitely be up for another trip.
I...
I'm actually really proud of Nemesis and the fact that it exists here in the UK. I love the fact that it draws enthusiasts from all over the world to want to come here and the fact that its awesome as well! I don't know if there's anything else that would make me feel that way if Nemesis didn't...
I've been saying i'll go to Madrid for the past few years, so seeing as this year as I didn't have any new creds planned until the summer, I decided to organise a short trip for March. Everything was fairly cheap and my non goon friend Zara asked if she could come along with me so it was the...
