I think once it's fully built people will forget that they were worried about the length. Obviously it could be way longer but we don't get that in the UK these days anyway so at least it's still huge and has some great elements.

Yeah when Saw opened Colossus was always the next busiest in the park, Saw and Colossus will probably have huge queues when this opens

All those points if followed through with give me the impression they're trying to get the park back on track solidly instead of changing target audience with every new 'addition' in the last almost 10 years I like the part about making the park worthy of coming for a 'short stay' before...
