if you stood at the bottom of a 300ft drop that only had a 100ft lift would the height still not be 300ft from the lowest point in that case? 🤔 (also just playing devil's advocate here btw xD)
but this is not them, this is cedar point revamping top thrill dragster in 2024
so if they *do* go for the height it'd be a bit odd for them to do that
it'd be odd and unlikely that they would build a spike taller than the train will reach, makes no sense
they're either going to break the record or it's just not going to break the record, there's no sensible reason they'd try and cheat it imo 🤣
the turnaround has been installed, seen at 4:36 on this video
I really like it but it does look out of place, obviously they haven't even painted the brakes, station or lift yet so I assume they will repaint all of the scenery surroundings and I have a tiny percentage of trust it will all come...
So they said directly to thorpe park that people would pay for a backwards seat and think they should have that over a spinning car. I strongly disagree 🤣 I personally would pay to be spinning, I wouldn't for backwards
it kind of does take a lot of space, more so than any other coaster at the park
they could easily fit a bigger/longer coaster in that space, it literally takes up the whole side of the park from rush to saw island, with the saw alive infilled land added it makes it an even bigger plot of land...
What does that mean exactly?
Is there any rare possibility it could actually come through at some point in some major form of itself or is this a still a complete farse?
It's always been enjoyable for me in the front seats (I've queued for the front 95% of all the times i've been on it)
Could the "retrack" be just to keep it going fora few or so years until they want to invest in it's removal or replacement? The replaced sections might be the parts that had to...
This is definitely the most disputed / argued about project I've ever witnissed whilst stalking this forum for many years :p I'm perched to see the final result that ends the speculation xD
would it be because vertical the magnets carry the whole weight of the train and need to have the power to lift it where as less than / over vertical puts some of the weight on the track and less on the power of the LSM?
(I have no idea how this stuff works btw I would just love to know how it...
It is a point to mention that surely the brake run is going to be made into an airtime hill or at least made to start way higher than it ends.. surely? Due to the issue of how long empty trains take to clear it when testing? Are there currently footers for that? Or is there none needed?
