Agreed.
They've been coined "Boring and Mild" for a reason.
Kraken, Manta and Mako do their jobs just fine, but these last two B&Ms are definite yawners. Would have liked to see what Intamin could do.
B&M Dive coasters are such a wildcard for me. I found nothing redeeming in Valravn at Cedar Point, in fact I could pretty much skip that ride entirely, but Sheikra at Busch Gardens was great. I don't want to blame the vest restraints but I can't put my finger on any other reason why they're such...
Heck ya, thanks for sharing! Really keeping up speed over that top hat, so nice to see!
Will be in the area at the end of the month, 26th through the 30th, if it's up and running during that period it's gonna be Xcelerator marathon time for me.
I bet the kids will love this because they hold attractions to a lower standard, but I just can't for the life of me understand why any big chain would give Skyline money for their rides.
I mean they couldn't even get those Sky Warps running consistently which had to have been one of the...
This looks like it will be a great addition to USH.
Not quite on par with Velocicoaster, but I feel like they've desperately needed a ride like this for quite a while.
Hmmm...I dunno...I wouldn't call that * *official* * confirmation.
Sea World Orlando could possibly just be a code word for Six Flags Magic Mountain???
^^^Nice! Thanks for sharing that side by side. Looks identical.
Thanks for the photo...but GAH!
I apologize if I'm being a bit overboard/nitpicky, but would it really kill them to CLEAN the track pieces, or at least wipe them down with a rag before they install them? That one piece looks like...
Nice observation!
From what it looks like *to me* is that B&M used to do loops with that 2 piece top track, because if you look at all the Batmans, the loops all use the 2 piece, even the last built one through 1999 at SFOT.
Nemises Inferno, built in 2002, must have been a new iteration of...
^^Agreed about the paint.
Considering the color scheme it had before, the plain white is definitely lacking the red and yellow "pop" the ride originally had.
I can tell already I will most likely forever miss the original color scheme, I thought it was bad ass.
So with the magnetic launches...
So funny to me new creds are still discussed as much as they are, it's that one coaster enthusiast topic I've never understood.
Is Superman Escape From Krypton backwards because it has a new car now a new cred? What if they were able to use the same cars to launch backwards? The world will...
I have no problem with the new paint job, and I like the details on the spine, especially because I might be wrong, but I don't recall ever seeing anything like it before. As said here before, I would agree that it probably looks much better in person.
I did like the old "worn, rusty" look...
Yeah, thanks for clearing that up.
Guess I'll have to get used to differentiating that around here, I didn't know what they were talking about for a second lol.
I agree the crack we see probably happened immediately during a ride cycle, but there may have been damage internally to the support that was not externally visible prior.
Typically maintenance does a "cycle" of track inspection throughout a week in the morning, as soon as it hits daylight...
If I hear Xcelerator reopens with the same hydraulic launch I'm driving there the next day and riding it over and over.
So sick of this "expensive to ship" bologna. Not from you, but if it's true, from CF.
The park INVESTED in the ride and knew the costs that might follow with the years to...
B&M supports, like almost any other coaster manufacturer designs them, are so stupid strong.
And like any coaster manufacturer they redundantly over design them on purpose. Think Hurricane Katrina, and the Batman ride at SFNO still sitting there like nothing ever happened to it. Even if a...
