I recently visited and overall have similar feelings towards the park. Didn't rate Valravn at all and actually found it bordering rough with its horrible rattle!
This is similar to what I've noticed. I spoke to the ride op on my last visit and he said the single rider policy is weird, if the queue is more than 15 minutes they shut the single rider queue entrance and let people group outside it, every 10 minutes or so they open it up and let people...
I think the nature of this debate has changed quite significantly since people called out Tom for him confidently saying it was going to be a Mack. Yes Mack could be involved but that's not what was originally said. As far as I'm concerned if its using Intamin track its an Intamin ride...
Good shout, I guess that's more to do with Vekoma being the RMC sales representative outside of North America than an actual partnership to manufacture a hybrid ride.
Tbf Hades wasn't that rough but it absolutely hauls through the tunnel and that in itself is a pretty unique experience! SteVe was insane and beats any other coaster for airtime twice over but until I get a re ride on Helix its not moving from my top spot.
I can only assume this is tongue in cheek as its known to be one of the worst hypers ;) it was, however, my 2nd hyper with my first being Raging Bull. I've done 4 B&M Hypers/ Gigas and Diamondback was by far the best of them all.
Raging Bull = Trimmed to death
Behemoth = Trimmed to death...
Glad it's an Intamin and not a Mack, not buying the whole two ride manufacturers for one coaster? Has that ever been done before on an actual coaster? Only example i can think of is KumbaK ****ing up Vliegende Hollander and having to get Intamin to sort it out but that doesn't really count.
Saw this testing in person the other day and it looks pretty damn good. Witnessed it do its first full test circuit and the launch is gonna be awesome, couldn't get over the noise it makes (not sure if deliberate because S&S) but it makes an almighty boom / bang.
Had a pretty embarrassing moment on my recent trip to the states. My friends got the kiddy cred at holiday world earlier in the day whilst i was in the waterpark so i had to grab it on my own later in the day. Im usually fine and can play off any embarrassing questions with a joke about being...
Nice pictures! Plopsa is a fab little park but could do with a bit more to do as you found out, think a rapids and another big coaster will really complete the line up.
I actually struggled on Lech Coaster at the CF live last year. I did 3 consecutive rides in our ERT session and it near enough wrote me off for the rest of the day!
I've kept a close eye on this as i'll be at the park on the 12th June. I've accepted that this isn't gonna be open but these last few updates have shown its really starting to pick up for the final push. It's the hope that kills you. That roll looks unbelievable as well!
Agreed. This is one of the best Boats in the UK in terms of ride and themeing / scenery. Given the state of the ride line up Chessie I can't quite wrap my head around this if its not being replaced.
