They're getting 4,3 mil in funding, so that would mean the whole thing would cost 43 million euros😮 Could be correct ofcourse, but sounds like a bit much for "just" a Vekoma
I'm probably talking nonsense here, but could it be that it has something to do with the newer type of track Intamin uses? I know it shouldn't make any difference, it would be illogical for them to design a new track type that would be less capable. But maybe this track lends itself better to...
I sure hope it isn't a swing launch.. I believe in the 10ish minute long testing video posted earlier in this thread there was footage of multiple runs where the train got up the tophat in one go, so it will likely just be a boost.

Maybe it didn't help that my last visit was on a gloomy october day last year, but I still felt like the ''bad'' stuff distracted me too much from the actual overall theme of the areas I mentioned. As I said I like the themes they did for some bits of the park, like Lost Gravity for example...
Gotta disagree with you on that one.
The way they "updated" the Zero Zone area near Lost Gravity and the flume ride was dreadfull, the graffiti everywhere made it a huge mess.. It's a cool theme as well but just very poorly executed.

Concept art for Eat My Dust's station and the food and toilet buildings.
The Zamperla Magic Bikes, called Windseekers.

Allllllright then. Walibi's Raptor will no longer open on the 30th of March 2024, as was mentioned in the leaked memo from last spring. Opening is now slated for early 2025. However, there is also some positive news... (drumroll please)
It will be a unique layout, with two different coasters...
Small construction update from the park, nothing we didn't know already.
The name of the coaster is now confirmed to be Eat My Dust. Fits with the theme but sounds horrendous.
