Dropped in my rankings!
EDIT - Sorry, couldn't help myself from adding in some more equation automation. With my new adds, didn't change anything in the Top 10. 😅
Would certainly track - Larry Bill designed both at CCI 2 years apart. General "bias" in design is rife with designers, and it would make sense to see similar layouts/elements in two back-to-back builds.
I mean we could all be doing other boring hobbies like stamp collecting or crocheting. 🤷♂️
My only regret is not being able to go in deeper at times, as I genuinely love the people and passion behind *gestures a waving hand in the air* all of this. But some similar passions for hiking...
I'd air on the side of "iteration"; both coasters share a virtually-same layout, with Mystic Timbers throwing in some trick track and a joint-bridge to span the White Water Canyon lagoon. They not clones, but they're obviously built by the same company on a development timeline.
Adding in Black Widow and Loki:
Marvel's The Avengers - I still love the hype train that built into this one. The Avengers joining for the first time, after then years of build-up. If only we really appreciated how this was the first of three phases.
Thor: Ragnarok - The movie Thor always...
Despite grappling with some much else on data tracking and answering data-based questions no one ever asked; ironically don't track park visits nor ride laps. Or at least, I did on an older document that went back to 2002, which was subsequently fried in a hard drive crash back in 2013. Ever...
"Hurricane test" 😅
Gonna rock your guy's boats here - it turns out when tropical storms and hurricanes roll through, Floridians do actually close the doors, board up windows, and batten down the hatches.
No, of course they didn't just have thousands of dollars worth of coaster train sitting...
This right here. I'd argue that no, there is no such thing as "too smooth", BUT depending on the type of roller coaster, it can be smoother than expected, taking away from experience. Newer GCIs also come to mind; I am a total sucker for the "wooden coaster feel", and love a healthy jostle...
