I have a height related issue with those trains. Due to the lack of leg space I usually struggle to bring the restraints down as they hit my thighs before they lock. Seems to be a common thing with the older Intamin trains as I experienced the same thing on EGF and Goliath.
Drayton Manor have been fined £1M over safety failings that lead to the death of Evha Jannath. Full news article linked below.
I don't think the Merlin annual pass has helped the smaller parks in the UK. Why pay for entry to multiple independent parks and attractions when some of the best ones in the country can be accessed for a monthly payment.
The UK is also a very small country, it doesn't take long to get to any...
There's been rumours for a while that some of their larger rides would removed before the 2021 season. With the removal of G force, Pandemonium and Apocalypse I wonder if we'll hear something about Shockwave soon. Without the other thrill attractions to support it the coaster feels very...

Alongside the mentioned parks like Towers, Pleasure Beach and Thorpe I'd highly recommend a trip down to Paultons. Its the best UK family park by far and Tornado Springs is looking fantastic. Plus if you've got time in the afternoon you could always head over to Portsmouth for a few Pier creds...
I've spent the day at Thorpe but unfortunately I was left feeling disappointed by the experience. In some areas they've done very well, there are plenty of hand sanitisers around the park and clear signage explaining the procedures they've put in place. The retail areas were also well looked...
