The park opened last Friday and some of my Danish enthusiast friends were invited behind the construction walls to check out the progress.
You can now see the second attraction of the area taking form, which looks like it'll be some kind of jeep ride, probably with plenty of scenery along the...
So a follower of CoasterClub Denmark sent us some very interesting photos the other day, showing a big land clearing going on in the eastern part of the park. They've cut down a lot of trees and there also seems to be a good amount of activity already.
Whatever this is, it's definitely big and...
This is such a no-brainer to me, and has been for some time. - So I'm very happy to hear about this!
Ever since seeing what Universal has been able to do with the IP, and the massive success it has been, I've wondered why the hell nobody were doing something similar in Europe. Take all the HP...
Ah yes, that’s the sluggish Mack-pace we know and (love?)... I feel like Mack coasters (maybe with the exception of Blue Fire) often seem like they run a tiny bit slower than they’re supposed to. Just look at that airtime hill following the snake dive thingy, it looked great in the first test...
Seems to meander quite a bit, it’s also about 20 km/h slower than Juvelen..
I wouldn’t call it a “small family atttaction” though, it’s far from it. And it definitely looks to fill a gap in Fuji Queue’s line-up.
Funnily enough, I remember a non-enthusiast friend once telling me about having ridden Fluch, reffering to as "Flugten fra Novgorod" (which is Danish and translates to "The Escape from Novgorod"). Maybe they've realised that a lot of people make this "mistake" and have just gone ahead and...
Thought I'd update this.
Both attractions has now been officially announced along with some visuals.
Other than the KMG Move It-24, the park will be getting a Zamperla Nebulaz, which will be the first of it's kind in Northern Europe.
Both attractions should be ready for Bakken's opening on the...
If your home-parks are owned by Merlin I can see why you would get a bit of horror/monster theming-fatigue, but it’s not very often that a big roller coaster in Sweden (heck, even Scandinavia) is themed around something like that. So with that in mind, it’s not really something I’d critique.
It would indeed make sense if it was for Energylandia's Tilt Coaster.
If not, it could also be for Efteling's 2022 coaster? - I know Intamin has been rumoured, but has it ever been confirmed?
I'd like to throw in Fårup Sommerland as well, just for ****s and giggles <3
^ Nope ;-)
I pointed it out so we had a frame of reference for the other unknown ride.
The park has now announced that their Zierer JetSki ride will be leaving as well, so we now know the location of both new rides.
You're welcome! - There is a lot of theming planned, the whole area will look great once done, from what I've heard ;-)
It was indeed pushed from 2021 to 2022 mostly because of COVID and the circumstances it created for suppliers etc.
As some of you probably know by now, Bakken said goodbye to Racing (Their Zierer Flitzer) this year, so a replacement was imminent.
While Bakken hasn't announced anything specific yet, they have now started teasing that they will get 2 (!!) new rides for the coming season.
