New Themed Park Coming to US

Well this is certainly interesting... "it will be a multi-land themed park and not simply an iron park. And a design studio that has done work on major parks and facilities throughout the United States is working on the project." https://www.themeparkinsider.com/flume/202104/8153/ Maybe this...

^Pull-through tests seem to be exclusively an Intamin practice. Can't recall another major manufacturer doing pull-throughs recently, but Intamin's been doing it since at least Millennium Force.

Another clip. Slow over the top, trying to murder you by the end. Just as it has since mid-2017 😍 Can't wait to get back soon.

I don't know how many times this needs to be said: The brake fins after the LSMs are NOT USED in normal operations. They are PURELY there for emergency stop/abort launch reasons. And like ECG said, don't worry about the speed. Y'all should know by now how temperamental RMCs are, especially...

Joining sections are here: Glad to see the whole drop is IBox and isn't what I predicted a few pages back. Didn't make sense to have 2-3 sections of topper just on the drop. Can't wait to check out how smooth ol' Rod is now!

    Three Trends – Looking Forward

Agree with this. Only real experience I have with virtual queues is Rise of the Resistance and I thought it was great. Allowed me to get a spot in that line, do everything I wanted to do in the park while waiting for my boarding time. If virtual queues become the standard and there are no...

Useless technicality but correct, that can't a block with just the mag brakes. I'd assume the part of the brakes before the decline is a block though (like the top part of a Giga brake run). Regardless, that angle is kinda absurd for a Beemer and I adore it😄

The launch modification was most definitely to extend the ride's service life as long as possible. Nothing was ever confirmed publicly, but it was basically common knowledge that wood track was getting beaten up far more than it could hold. That's why now that most of it's IBox track, a lot of...

Definitely won't have any issues with the 2nd half. It's always impressed me that even after the launch modification (sometime between April-July 2017) that the quad down felt the same. The first half is what really suffered from the change, on the original speed that entire ride felt like the...

Universal IoA | Jurassic World VelociCoaster | Intamin Blitz | 2021

^^come on now, you know that this'll beat the brakes off Icon 😄 First half does look a bit underspeed when cycling empty trains, but with loaded trains it looks about perfect. The key with the first half is getting that ideal speed, you don't want it to be too fast that you miss the theming &...

Busch Gardens Williamsburg | Pantheon | Intamin LSM Coaster | 2021

^That is the current rumor. Courtesy of user @BGWnut on the ParkFans forums, "It seems like they are seeking to put an even better attraction in the space" and "From what I'm hearing, this ride should be much more of a I305 competitor than [Drachen Spire] would have been." It may not end up...

As best I can tell they're a different kind of magnetic brakes, probably an adjustable trim (just on and off settings) as opposed to the fixed trim fins about 10 feet later. Older aerial pictures of the ride show some wiring running up to these rectangle trims, so that's my guess on that.

    Silver Dollar City 2022??

To be entirely fair, the actual clearing could be smaller/much smaller than the outline you drew. Hard to judge the scale just by screamscape's description (but that's not your fault), so it'll be better to judge when an eventual picture comes out. I've always thought a ride like Firechaser...

Low stress area that really didn't need retracking is probably the reason. I'd rather the whole drop be IBox just so there isn't 2 extra "transition" sections between track types (which I really hope don't end up being rough in a few years... otherwise you'll be looking at that other 43% being...

This should be the final result of the retracking. 57% IBox is the magic number and I think this adds up from the indicators you can see on the ride Orange: Topper Track Brown: new IBox
