    Deno's Wonder Wheel Park | Phoenix | Suspended coaster | 2021

Took another ride on my motorcycle to Coney Island yesterday. Track work is complete and the station concrete pour is taking place this weekend. Most of these photos were taken from the walkway that will cut underneath the coaster, but will likely have netting over it once the ride opens. Love...

    New rides @ small parks

Another one I haven't seen posted so far - Casino Pier on the Jersey Shore is adding a custom SBF Visa Big Air (hamster wheel) coaster called Xolo Loca for the 2021 season. For those wondering, Xolo is the name of Mexico’s native dog.

    New rides @ small parks

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but Screamer from Scandia Amusement Park that closed in 2019 was sold to Traders Village in Grand Prairie, Texas. The Prairie Screamer, the tallest E&F Miler Industries Hi-Miler, will open this fall. Here's the full press release: Here's an old POV for...

Are there theme parks without any season pass options?

There are many free-to-enter amusement parks in the USA (i.e Playland's Castaway Cove, Knoebels, Luna Park, Pacific Park, Kemah Boardwalk, Family Kingdom, Funplex, Trimper Rides, Steel Pier, Belmont Park, Adventure Park USA, Jenkinson's Boardwalk, Galveston Island Pleasure Pier, Fantasy Island...

    Deno's Wonder Wheel Park | Phoenix | Suspended coaster | 2021

More progress... As you can see, I had full access to the construction site, so I filmed a walkthru video as well. I hope to have it up on our Youtube channel in about 2 hours. I'll post it here once it's rendered.

It's one thing if it were in a park like a kiddie cred, but would you or @Peet really pay €7 for one ride on that?!

    Busch Gardens (Tampa)..first coaster?

Yeah. From what I've heard from friends who live in Orlando - it's nuts! Park reservations are full because of the reduced capacity, but there's long lines even though not as many guests are in the parks as before the pandemic. I would recommend waiting until other parks across the nation open...

Do Sally Corporation manufacture the transit systems to their dark rides?

Sorry if I didn't make that clear, but yes - the actual ride systems are done by a different company.

Do Sally Corporation manufacture the transit systems to their dark rides?

They design and manufacture everything from the animatonics to the 3D screens, right down to the shooting devices and scoreboards. However, the ride systems are done by other companies - including Oceaneering Entertainment Systems for the Justice League: Battle for Metropolis dark shooters.

    Lightning Rod Status

It was filmed early morning before park opening on an empty train, when it was 40° (4° C). You should see El Toro crawl around the track under those conditions. Don't worry about the speed. Too bad they had to clear out so much to get access. We'll have to film again after they remove all those...

    Unknown rides outside of parks.

Two newer ones are Wings Over Washington in Seattle, which was an amazing feat just to put this baby on the pier. It's also excellent. And The Flyer in San Francisco. Also on a pier. Both are by Dynamic Attractions. There was also the Fear The Walking Dead Survival attraction on Fremont...

    Surprisingly wet water rides

Dorney Park's Thunder Canyon is by far the wettest raft ride. It's like taking a ride under a giant water faucet. Don't believe me? Just ask anyone who attended the 2012 CF Live where Richard Stone rolled along the exit sidewalk leaving a trail of water for dozens of meters. I'll also go along...
