Cedar Point .questions and your thoughts?

Generally speaking, if you can fit on Cheetah Hunt you should be fine on pretty much any other coaster. Those Intamin restraints are notoriously tight.

Are the seats on Colossus particularly small?

Yes mate there's nothing quite like the Colossus restraints. Absurdly bulky restraints and small trains. I've not attempted it in a while but IIRC the front car seats are impossible because of the big metal bit in the middle. There's a bit more wiggle room in the back car seats as you can...

    Flamingo Land | Unknown | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2021

Nightmare that, have to resort to deleting paths.

    Coaster hair?

I'm with ya. Always wear a hat at the parks for this reason but often forget to take it off on rides. On Poseidon at Europa a person behind me managed to catch it mid air.

    WTF Merlin?

I don't think it's too bad tbh but then expectations are currently very low. This could surely be Merlin's most profitable season in years due to the travel restrictions, so hopefully things will look a bit brighter in the coming years.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg | Pantheon | Intamin LSM Coaster | 2021

Looks slow fast. Can't see there being much airtime on the layout but I guess it's hard to tell sometimes.

    Flamingo Land | Unknown | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster | 2021

Just catching up on the last few pages, sounds a really tough time for the park. Only popped in here to see if the new coaster will be open soon. Colossus is one of my favourite ever coasters so was really looking forward to getting on this. I wonder if the worst was to happen and they had to...

Potential addition of rides / themepark to Warner Bros Studio Tour, London.

Most of that land is used for live filming sets so it always looks like a construction site tbh. Can sometimes hear explosions and see effects going off. Tom Cruise was spotted in the local Indian Restaurant a few years ago.

Potential addition of rides / themepark to Warner Bros Studio Tour, London.

That would make a lot of sense. It is a hugely popular attraction but unless you're a die hard Harry Potter fan, there's not much there to attract repeat visits. Also it's a 5 minutes from where I live. Not asking for much so I'd settle for a Ron Weaseley themed RMC tbh.

What is the UK's most Iconic piece of themeing / themed area?

Was slightly obsessed with Amity Cove when Thorpe was at it's peak. Mainly because of WWTP Radio. Then they slapped those genital stinging shower gel logos all over it and it lost a bit of charm. Transylvania is a great shout, especially with the original Bat trains swooping over the area.

New (temporary, hired) flat rides for Alton Towers

FAO old people - Did people actually used to say Cowabunga?! Thought it was only a season 1/2 Simpsons thing.

New (temporary, hired) flat rides for Alton Towers

I see the logic behind it but yeah... I hate it. Would look a lot better if they bunched them all up together in one area with its own fairground theme but that would then defeat their purpose of being additional capacity rides.

    Attractions that still scare you?

Slammer used to get me every time. Miss that big bastard. Although it's one of my top 3 coasters I'd say Skyrush is up there. Even after 5/6 re rides it was near on impossible to keep my arms up on the first drop. Completely agree with Summit Plummet, genuinely don't think I'll ever do that...

    Obscure special effects

I used to call this the Indiana Jones Ride as a kid 😐 Chessington in the 90's - what a time to be alive. Terror Tomb was the possibly the best dark ride in Europe at the time and the attention to detail throughout the park was reminiscent of what Efteling is today. Wardley rightly gets a lot of...

Which EU Coaster Has The Most Airtime?

Hyperion's first hill is the best individual moment of airtime in Europe IMO. You'd be launched into Russia if there was no lap restraint. Untamed is the champ for consistency though. I basically done the same as you but when visiting the US. Planned the whole trip entirely around which...

Highest throughput coasters in the world outside of Disney and Universal?

Silver Star is how all coasters should be operated. I'm convinced the team get paid throughput commission. Die Hard levels of "SCHNELL" shouts in that station.
