    Silverwood | Stunt Pilot | RMC Raptor | 2021

There were pretty clear indications this would be a coaster. Glad I was right. Being an enthusiast, I have made it down to ride Railblazer, but I’m so excited for the Pacific Northwest to be getting a modern steel coaster like this. The vast majority of people going to Silverwood will have never...

    Silverwood | Stunt Pilot | RMC Raptor | 2021

I do think the loop in the sky should confirm this is a coaster. It’s possibly unintentional but they seem savvy enough not to do that.

    Silverwood | Stunt Pilot | RMC Raptor | 2021

Hmmm, I’m not aware of any flying felines, but I suppose they could be going with a fantasy theme.

    Silverwood | Stunt Pilot | RMC Raptor | 2021

I was purposefully reading too much into it and kidding with the names.

    Silverwood | Stunt Pilot | RMC Raptor | 2021

Their latest email said they won’t let the “cat out of the bag” so it’s obvious the coaster will be named Cougar or Mountain Lion or Lynx or Bobcat. Or Whiskers. Could be Whiskers.

    Silverwood | Stunt Pilot | RMC Raptor | 2021

The 2021 background is in line with the western theme of the dry side, so I think that eliminates the water park. As the tweet shows, they don’t tease things too often so I’m optimistic it’s a coaster. I’m irrationally hoping for an axis coaster.

    Energylandia | Zadra | RMC I-Box

I had never ridden an RMC and then I went on Twisted Timbers. You might look at that layout and think the three straight airtime hills are lame based on your thoughts about Zadra. But it’s one of my favorite set of elements on any coaster. You just can’t believe how amazing the airtime is and it...

Carowinds | Copperhead Strike | Mack Dual Launch

I’d just like to come out in favor of hangtime. Us hangtime people are out here, quietly biding our time. Our day will come.

California's Great America | Railblazer | RMC Raptor

It was confirmed by the company doing the control systems that Railblazer won’t have a moving station. They also mentioned that in theory neither method is faster than the other. In practice, the moving platform should result in faster dispatches.

Cedar Point | Steel Vengeance | RMC I-Box (Mean Streak Conversion)

It’s doing an uphill barrel role, and then maintaining that elevation for the turnaround. I expect that part to be a bit of a breather before the quick diving stall speeds you back up.

Oaks Amusement Park | Adrenaline Peak | Gerst. Eurofighter

For those not from the area, Adrenaline Peak is a reference to the many nearby peaks in the Cascade Mountains and the huge skiing/snowboarding culture. It actually fits really well. Also, for the earlier comment about the amount of green foliage, this is Portland, Oregon - not Portland, Maine...

Cedar Point | Steel Vengeance | RMC I-Box (Mean Streak Conversion)

Possible explanations: 1. They'll officially announce the name and details of the ride on 8/7 at 5pm. 2. It'll cost $875 to ride it. 3. There will be 8 trains, each with 75 cars. 4. The first drop will be 87.5 degrees 5. The ride will be closed for 875 days in a row after one week of successful...

Cedar Point | Steel Vengeance | RMC I-Box (Mean Streak Conversion)

http://www.kxly.com/features/made-in-the-northwest/made-in-the-northwest-rocky-mountain-construction/586841280 Nice little video spotlight of RMC by a local Spokane news station. Lucky guy got to actually ride on the new raptor track. As far as this thread goes, at the 2:40 mark there's a...
