    Rank your Ridden B&M Inverts

Also overdue for an update here. 1. Nemesis - It's the second best B&M I've ever done with some of my favorite inversions on any ride. Thought it was perfect at the time, but it's been eleven years so it's due for a revisit, but I don't know when that's happening. A bit worried it's going to...

Six Flags Great America | Wrath of Rakshasa | B&M Dive Coaster | 2025

I was gonna say, while it does seem like an improvement over Iron Menace, Rakshasa still appears to have a consistent/minor rattle throughout the whole layout, judging by that ridercam. Front middle is probably going to be the desirable seat.

    Rank the RMCs

Gonna try to get through a few of these threads... been two years since I've updated this one! 1. Steel Vengeance - There isn't a whole lot to say that hasn't been said on here, but it's really the length and amount of elements packed in here that push it to the top. Night rides on this are...

    Last Cred Review

Won’t be doing a trip report of my recent SFOT visit but the park has a few uncommon ride models (and who knows how many years these rides have left), so wanted to highlight them here. Shockwave It's now the best operating Schwarzkopf (RIP Jetline). Honestly wasn’t too “shocked” that this...

    Milestones in Your Counts

50 - Stealth 100 - Voyage 150 - Fury 325 200 - Mystic Timbers 250 - Abismo 300 - Fønix 400 - Bobcat 500 - New Texas Giant Visited some friends in Dallas last weekend and made it to Six Flags Over Texas for the first time. Had a bit of work to do in the cred run but successfully made New Texas...

    Six Flags Over Texas | Unknown | B&M Dive Coaster | 2026

Yeah, was there last weekend and they're CHUNKY. Supports especially were the first thing I noticed on the walk up and they're huge. Funny enough, despite all the space they have in the closed off area, they placed them as close to the pedestrians as possible on that walk to the entrance.

Opinion (controversial?) Bobbejaanland: Horse Pedalo should count, for those who count coasters

See, I don't have this dilemma of "is it a cred or no," because I just didn't ride it. That's a path I'm not sure I want to go down, so just avoid it all together.

Weekend in the Bay Area - Day 3: San Francisco

A bunch of the other goons had plans to hit up Gilroy Gardens that Sunday. I wasn’t really fussed about the +2 (best of which was an Arrow mine train), but I also wasn’t going to make the cross-country effort to visit a couple of (allegedly) s**tty parks and NOT explore San Francisco. I...

Weekend in the Bay Area - Day 3: San Francisco

Alright we're back. Our hotel was right near California’s Great America, so that was nice and easy getting over. I don’t think any of us knew that it was opening day when the weekend dates were set, but honestly it turned out alright. Cred run had one option, otherwise you’ve failed: rope...

Korea and Japan - Part 9: Osaka International Expo

I didn't realize the aquatrax had the straddle-style seating, complete with handrails. I'm quite a fan of those types of rides so it kinda makes Atlantis much more interesting. What are those plastic windshields on the drop tower?? What an ugly mess, but I imagine that sort of thing isn't...

Weekend in the Bay Area - Day 3: San Francisco

I think they've been trying to work on Flash but I wouldn't count on it. Like most Six Flags parks, the quality of your visit is ultimately dependent on how crowded it is. We were there on a Friday so it really wasn't too bad, even with some of the single train ops, but I'd imagine weekends...

    A Walibi Weekend - Part 2: Holland

Yeah, I was never quite convinced on YoY during its buildup and your review essentially validates my expectations. I think it's that I've learned I'm not the biggest fan of the Raptors (still generally great, just a step down from the hybrids as you said). But also YoY just seems to lack that...

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

There isn't any notable competition within a few hours, so they've got that region locked down. No need to sink in millions every other year when people are going to show up anyway.

Weekend in the Bay Area - Day 3: San Francisco

It’s been nearly a month since I did another weekend with the Buzzed Bars friends, this time hitting up the parks in the San Francisco Bay Area. A NorCal trip always seemed like a nice idea for a long weekend (or added onto a larger trip), but it was never that high a priority for me. This...

Six Flags America & Hurricane Harbour to close at the end of the 2025 season

God dammit I'm missing a few creds there. I just got back from another trip to a park that's gonna close after this year... really don't want to have to do another one. 🤣

Jinma Officially Go Bonkers With New Inverted Model

It's actually kinda cute that they're learning and continuing to dish out "new" models.

    Do you like fastfood?

It's because they get paid way lower than minimum wage, so they have to rely on tips in order to like, live. Depending on the state, a base pay for servers may be less than $5 an hour without considering tips. And the problem is tipping is still not "formally required" or anything like that, so...

Best coaster per unit length; what coaster utilises its length most effectively?

Looking at my Top 30, Piraten, Nemesis, Storm Chaser, and surprisingly enough Fonix are all under 3,000 ft in length and all incredible rides. Fonix being just under 3,000 ft and the others being under 2,500 ft, with Nemesis being the shortest. The thing that all these rides have in common is...

Six Flags Great America | Wrath of Rakshasa | B&M Dive Coaster | 2025

Remember it's not using the holding brake yet... that'll shave off a few mph. The layout has a nice length to it, but it doesn't look particularly exciting after that third inversion. And then there's the B&M smoothness these days...

    Cedar Point | Siren's Curse | Vekoma Tilt Coaster | 2025

But considering the layout that they had available, I'd say they did well with it's placement (despite being right next to a dive coaster with a similar gimmick). That midway opposite of Iron Dragon was looking pretty dire last year, so having that interaction will bode very well. If they were...
