I rode these just over a week ago. We bought the "guaranteed entry" timeslot tickets which did basically act as fast track (I think they've stopped doing them now though) and that was good job because the queues were long. Well, they were for the Thrill side, not so much for Chill. There were...
Surely Paultons have more sense than to buy a Maurer Spike coaster! The two that have been installed so far have been maintenance and operational nightmares haven't they?
Also @Shrek-Racer what makes you think they are capable of inverting? They are pretty slow and the restraint is basically...
The cynic in me says it's this. You shouldn't have to prove you have the courage for it by doing a shorter ride first. Ultimately they aren't going to refund you if you bottle out anyway, so it shouldn't matter if you've done something like that previously or not.
Took a few snaps of this while I was at the park last weekend. Looks quite good for a small park and nicely themed. I believe it's due to open at the end of the month.
I enjoyed the pictures of Brisbane. Despite spending 5 days in the area last year, we never got around to visiting the actual city 🤷♂️
I also enjoyed Dreamworld the most on my trip. Best ops and friendliest staff in the area.
Definitely agree about the Aussie parks, Movie World especially. Just infuriating!
Surprised nobody has mentioned Parque Warner Madrid yet. Their ops and ride availability were disgraceful when I visited. I've visited PortAventura 3 times and even when it was super busy last time I went, I...
@uwurawrus Any idea how busy this place gets in the summer? Do you think I could get all the creds in a couple of hours on a Saturday in June? I'm pondering adding this park to my little Polish trip based on the reviews of this new coaster!

My season is as good as over, though I should get one more new cred at a winter funfair if the weather plays ball.
Here are my stats with a few extra ones added that I track every year.
Coaster count at start of 2024: 407
Coaster count at end of 2024: 488
Coaster count increase: 81
Number of...
My season is effectively over and I got an amazing 81 new creds, and a few made it into the list. My overall top ten is still all Steel coasters so I'll do a separate one for the woodies. New creds from this year in bold.
Top 10
Steel Vengeance
Taron (I actually count this as joint first with...
That wasn't an option when I was there, possibly because they were sold out. I would have paid that to get a quick ride done tbh.
Just been reading your trip report, funnily enough. You had better luck than me! :D
