After weeks of teasing Särkänniemi finally revealed what their new ride for 2019 will be.

My horrible attempt at translating how Särkänniemi describes the ride on their website
Amusement parks latest, horizon dominating tower ride reaches 68 meters and launches visitors up in the sky and back down in high speeds- all while tower rotates around.

They also shared some stats:
Height - 68m
G-forces - 4G
Min. passenger height - 120cm (With accompanying adult)
Number of seats - 16
Manufacturer: Zamperla

The real mystery is that there are no rides on Zamperlas product listing that match descriptions and stats given by Särkänniemi. The most baffling detail by far is that the tower apparently rotates during the launch and drop. Of course, they probably mean that gondola is the only moving part of the ride because a rotating tower would just be too much :p.

Don't some of the Star Flyers have rotating towers? Although don't think I've ever seen a drop tower one...

Their 'Z' range of towers do actually have a free fall element to them. They have the option of a free fall drop, or shot and drop cycle.

Their other towers are like giant frog hoppers, but they're super fun.

So this will be much more like an S&S tower than the likes of a standard free-fall drop tower then?

Potentially, just saying that that's what the other ones do. A lot of them have different ride cycles on them - for example, the one at Dreamland has 5 different cycles that REALLY differ from one another.
