^ Nah, it's the fact that they've finally got official protection.

    Alton Towers | Nemesis | B&M Retrack | TBC

Whatever they may do to the track, I will just say this.... PLEASE DO NOT PUT SAND IN THE TRACK. Thanks.

    Dreamland Margate’s Future

In my unpopular opinion, they'll torch a couple of things and claim insurance. Close the gates and pay some of the Sands debt before declaring bankruptcy. I'm only half joking...

I could see this with a chocolate volcano mountain. Shame, what a missed opportunity.

Thorpe Park | Project Exodus | Mack Hyper Coaster? (UK's tallest coaster) | 2023/2024

It'll be a normal Mack, then the next operating season we'll see a "OMG SPINNING SEATS" marketing hit us. Everyone will lose their s!!t just like they did Swarm. I called it on Swarm last time, and I call it again.

^ The difference with Goliath and Exodus is that Goliath has quicker elements, so it has room to do more stuff within a relatively short time. Exodus goes through its circuit taking up most of its time going through each singular element. So Exodus doesn't really do much. Goliath has multiple...

Thorpe Park | Project Exodus | Mack Hyper Coaster? (UK's tallest coaster) | 2023/2024

^ Could well be right! Here's hoping for the long-awaited washing machine element. *fingers crossed* lol I'm hoping for 3 trains. A lot of new coasters without MCBR's seem to be getting 3 trains. Hopefully this is the same.

The brake run means 2 things. 1) Expected train stacking. (Maybe 3 trains? who knows) 2) That brake run is fricking long because the train hasn't burnt off enough steam with its height and really short layout. I can imagine that train hurtling in. Almost Stealth braking.

Thorpe Park | Project Exodus | Mack Hyper Coaster? (UK's tallest coaster) | 2023/2024

Not quite what I meant. My point is that It's all "fantastic elements" after another. All of these fantastic elements as most of them invert will take the sense of height away. There is no place where you can breathe and take things in, it's just hit, hit, hit. Even RMC's have moments of...

Thorpe Park | Project Exodus | Mack Hyper Coaster? (UK's tallest coaster) | 2023/2024

i think the trouble with the layout is that it is one huge inversion after another huge element… the sense of speed is going to be killed by inverting too much and takes the whole point away from what a hyper is. If they had a couple low to the ground filler elements in between, it would be so...

Haha I know, the PR scam. 😝 this is what I said a while back regarding coatings for projects. Don’t believe it at all because it’s PR spinner figures, not actual figures. Looking forward to this. Let’s see what it looks like tomorrow on the Thorpe site.

1ft taller than The Big One… What they gonna call it, The Slightly Bigger One?

To be fair, Stealth is only 60ft away from Shambhala, it's not too far off to beat it. I could imagine the cost of that being astronomical. Who knows. Merlin seem to have the cash now that they've gone private again.

    WTF Merlin?

I think more than anything, it was a cheap way to execute a proof of concept / viability of bringing these rides to Alton in a permanent way.
