Unless I missed something, I thought it was meant to be themed to cops and robbers? Would have been a cooler theme in my opinion, and could have worked the mansion into it too. However, whatever the theme, it is 2 very much needed roller coasters for LW, which should be welcomed with open arms!

They really throw the kitchen sink at their projects - this looks absolutely spectacular! I have no doubt it will be a worthy successor to the original.

Station update - does look a bit of a box but does the job - at least it has a roof!

It looks beautiful, but I really think this belongs in Tokyo Disneyland park and not Tokyo Disneysea. I'm sure they will still be ludicrously popular though!

This expansion looks really dull. They could have done something really fun with it, but all in all, it just looks like the same accommodation with different decals. I'm sure it will still cost £400.00 a night - excluding breakfast, tickets and parking.

The map is very bland. I know they're rebranding this year, but it just looks so corporate and flat. Where's the excitement - Hyperia looks like a family coaster!

True - but also Drayton Manor haven't had the best track record. However, they are turning it around with new owners - so I shall reserve my judgement!

I agree with this, and my worry is, even if it is heavily themed with a story-led element - give it two or three years and it won't work. We don't have a very good track record of dark rides and experiences being looked after in the UK...

Here are some more pictures of the updates happening at Paultons. By the sounds of it, it's going to be an exciting season for the park. The park needs a few more indoor attractions for when it rains.

The track is almost complete and they've installed a 30ft 'minifigure' which looks awsome. A great addition to the resort in my opinion - Legoland has been crying out for a new coaster for years, and now they've essentially got 2 at the same time.

This is truly the most bizarre concept for a theme park I've ever seen. They're really clutching at straws here, and I think it will be even more unpopular than the Bollywood theme. I'll eat my hat if it's still operating in that current format in 5 years.

This actually sounds awesome - it would be a great addition at Legoland Windsor too - all weather and indoor to keep the noise to a minimum.

I agree, I don't think anyone was really holding out much hope that they'd turn the park around so quickly, if at all. Looping didn't really have any parks in the same ball park as Drayton Manor in their portfolio, so I thought they would trundle along happily but not really doing much apart...
