    Working ride op abroad? Experiences?

Disney in America have some sort of program running if you are looking at working as a ride op abroad, your other option is Europa Park (on the European summer program). https://jobs.europapark.de/en/node/657 I'll be out there this summer; a couple of other members on the forum will be going...

    Phantasialand | F. L. Y. | Vekoma Launched Flying Coaster

I know it’s a bit off topic however matamba may be receiving a direct park entrance because ling bao is no longer going to have one once rookburgh opens. If the rumours are true, China will be the next area to undergo redevelopment into Asia and therefore due to construction work it could be...

Thorpe Park: What could the future hold?

Your hopes for the park are way too high. They simply cannot afford to invest because of stringent budgeting given by merlin, hence no proper investment in the park for the last 4 years and no new coasters for 8 years now. If they haven’t been able to afford/chosen to build a new coaster in the...

Thorpe Park: What could the future hold?

"London teenagers" is not a target market, at least not one you should be aiming for anyway. If that's seriously what they are aiming for no wonder the park is falling to pieces and visitor numbers are dropping every year.

Flamingo Land | Unknown | Intamin 10 Inversion Coaster

I think the grey will look horrible, but the red and yellow was just as bad.

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area 2020

I completely agree... the whole park is so well kept. Even the rides which aren’t in “themed areas” have really nice planting, gardens and sculptures around them. Lost kingdom, little Africa, critter creek, PP world and now TS are all beautifully detailed and you can really appreciate the level...

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area 2020

The level of detail paultons goes to is way beyond anything any of the uk merlin parks have ever done (personal opinion).

    Rank the SBF Visa Spinners

Viking is the worst coaster I've ever ridden in my life. On the way up the lift hill there was a massive jolt and the whole car jerked forwards and we came to a stop before starting up again. Not to mention going round the track was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had on a...

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area 2020

It’s a shame they can’t run a shuttle bus or something of the like to and from the station. Anyway, it’s close enough for me to drive there from home and free parking is great. Just can imagine might be a struggle for foreign visitors to access the park by public transport, and as the park...

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area 2020

They also need to work on public transport links as the last bus back to Southampton train station is way before park close 😂 and the first bus arriving to the park is way after park close, so you miss out on a big chunk of your day.

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area 2020

I never actually noticed it but now that I think about it I agree. I think the area looks fantastic so far. My main hope is that the new restaurant has good quality food. The current standard of food in the park is pretty poor in my opinion and is the only real negative point that I can...

Paultons Park | Tornado Springs | New Area 2020

IMO lost kingdom is currently the best themed area in the uk so if it’s more detailed than lost kingdom we are in for a massive treat!

    Phantasialand | F. L. Y. | Vekoma Launched Flying Coaster

That's not strictly correct though. The cut off deadline for the hotel discount is the actually 1st August, so if we are going by that logic we wouldn't see Rookburgh open until then (which by all means is possible, however I think it is likelier to be earlier than this as if they leave it til...

    Phantasialand | F. L. Y. | Vekoma Launched Flying Coaster

I have an annual pass so I’ll be going a few times this season anyway (I normally go in summer and then winter as the park is so beautiful during the winter season) It’s just the flight prices are extremely high in April but if it was to open then, I would love to be there for the launch of the...
