An announcement regarding (I’m assuming) King’s Dominion’s Grizzly is happening on Monday.

Many online sources and coaster watchers have recently noticed that The Grizzly coaster is closed for repairs and that sections of track are missing. The theories behind the nature of the changes are as wild as the ride itself. The theories range from massive hurricane damage to large trees toppling onto the first drop and taking out a large section of track. None of these are correct. The truth is that Grizzly is undergoing extensive renovations and retracking and will re-emerge some time next season more fierce than ever before.

After Premier Rides and Intamin, this will be the 3rd manufacterer of this kind of coasters.
Hopefully there will be at least some good trains on this rides.
For clarity, this layout isn't new for Zamperla. They actually unveiled it in June 2021. What is new is the 2x2 train design, which I think looks quite good. A lot of Intamin influence it seems.

Also, for what it's worth, S&S is in this market as well.

Sorry to double post, but MVR announced yesterday that they've bought the patents for the rides made by Bill Kitchen/US Thrill Rides including SkyBlazer and the Unicoaster. It's an interesting move as MVR has always been known as more of a builder of other companies' products. This acquisition pushes them more into the realm of an actual rides vendor.

Why don't they just buy one? They're minted and the AT contract probably pays for it in a year anyway. 🤷‍♂️

That being said, there's a technojump at fanny island, maybe it's related to that in some way.

Surely after three years of renting these cheap-looking fairground rides they could have bought some actual new rides for the park? It was fine for a filler year after COVID-19, but they've outstayed their welcome...
