Etnaland postpones opening until 2021

June 1, 2020 – Officials for Etnaland near Catania announced that they will not open for the 2020 season, citing new Coronavirus-related restrictions. In their statement park representatives said they look forward to seeing guests return in 2021 for their 20th Anniversary.

Measuring some 70 acres (280,000 ), Etnaland is the largest attraction in southern Italy featuring an amusement park, a water park, a prehistoric-era-themed park and a botanical garden. At 28 acres (112,500 ), nearly half  of the resort is the amusement park, which features a Mack Rides bluefire Coaster clone.
