Kentucky Flyer setback avoided

Kentucky Kingdom nearly suffered a setback in regards to building the park’s planned new Kentucky Flyer coaster as the expected expansion approval by the Fair Board from which the park leases its land had yet to be signed. New 2019 Coaster for Kentucky Kingdom

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Kentucky Kingdom announced a new Gravity Group out-and-back family wooden coaster will open in 2019. Kentucky Flyer will feature a 52° 45 foot (14m) tall drop, 54° banked turns, 12 airtime elements, and a top speed of 35 mph (56 km/h) along 1,280 feet (390m) of track. Gravity Group woodie for Parc St Paul

The Gravity Group released video animation of Wood Express, their new wooden coaster that will be opening at Parc Saint Paul in 2018. At a cost of $2.15 million (€2.5m), the coaster stands 49 feet (15m) tall with a 57° drop reaching speeds up to 38 mph (61 km/h) over 1,572 feet (479m) of track and will feature 13 moments of airtime! Fun Spot announce New Woodie for 2017

The Gravity Group and Fun Spot America announced today that a new wooden coaster will open at their park near Orlando in Kissimmee, Florida in 2017. The coaster will be 82 feet (25m) tall, 2,256 feet (688m) long, have a top speed of 48.5 mph (78 km/h) and feature a 360° barrel roll inversion, 115° banked turns and seven airtime hills.
