Linnanmäki announces Taiga launch coaster

Linnänmaki Amusement Park announces the debut of Taiga, the biggest coaster in Finland, for 2019. This coaster from Intamin AG will feature two launches and four inversions across more than a kilometer of track, and reach speeds of 66 mph (104 km/h) and heights of over 170 feet (52 m). Robin Hood to receive RMC conversion

The Robin Hood wooden coaster at Walibi Holland will be closed until 2019, and redesigned by Rocky Mountain Construction. Robin Hood was built by Vekoma in 2000, when Six Flags operated the park. RMC has performed several rebuilds of wooden coasters in the past. Robin Hood is slated to be the company’s first conversion project outside North America, although they built a coaster from the ground up in Sweden in 2016. Click the headline for more information
