Oh yikes, my intolerance of Southerners has been rumbled! Damn you Cheetah Hunt!

You're right though, the drop in quality between 1 and 10 is huge. It's an odd list but having scrolled through the last few pages of this thread there are much wackier ones ;)

Oh no doubt some people have very strange tastes, Safe-Word-Serena might top that list, but yours was more like... 1-4 great coasters, good looking list then just WTF just happened :emoji_astonished:

^Good to see you loved X2, but that you have it placed (rightly so) below Lightning Rod. :p

I thought about putting it above Lightning Rod, but then I just thought about that quad down and made the right decision.
Thanks for letting me know you were here Ed. Guess what we had at Dollywood was nothing...

Just realized how low you have Twisted Colossus. Is it because of that second lift and how slow it is? Interesting to see it so low on the list.

The second lift did sort of kill the adernaline, but it was mainly that it just didn't feature nearly as much airtime as most RMCs, at least, that's what I thought. I think it was a case of expectations being too high, and the ride missing them by quite a bit.

I think the second lift is the biggest killer. I held it higher before Outlaw Run, but then I rode it 2 weeks after and it felt like it was missing something. It ruined the ride for me lol.

That said, stalls <3

I don't have it in my top 10, but it's one of those "unassumingly insane" kind of rides. You approach every corner way too fast. By the time you get your breath back, you've been thrown down a hill. Buckets of airtime. Basically, it's the polar opposite of clinically perfect engineering, but it works so well for it.

Going off of this, there is a point on the lift hill where you have to physically duck, or else you'll hit your head on some wood.

It's like a roller coaster designed by a madman, but somehow passed all the operating requirements.

jayjay said it very eloquently, but what it really comes down to is how much fun it is to ride and what sets it apart from other really fun coasters, like Coaster at Playland or Phoenix at Knoebels, is that it's so much fun to ride by yourself. All my other favorites I enjoy the most while riding with friends, but I usually ride Wild Mouse solo and will re-ride it over and over again on my own. I haven't done that on any other coaster since I was a kid.
