Just by seeing that one finished wall, I'm pretty sure the complete hotel will look fabulous. Incredible theming. I'm in love with the style, the details and the color scheme.
Looking forward to see the whole building progressing to a factory that seems to have been there for many many many years...

How many months do you think we are talking until opening? Going back in April but it's still looking pretty far from completed and no sight of testing yet. My annual pass expires mid July so hoping it's open by then to take advantage of my pass.

I don't think it'll open later than late June unless they suddenly hit some major snag in the coming months.

Last time I was in Phantasialand, was in 2016. In may/june 2020 I will be going to Energylandia with my family and because it's a long drive, we are going to stay in a hotel for 1 night... First I was thinking about Belantis, but if Rookburgh is open, we will stay at Phantasialand! Love the chimney and the rust behind the windows!!! :)

Yeah I mean I guess it would break up the drive, but it's no where near the middle mark. You'll only be saving three hours or so, if you arrive in Calais.

Just before Christmas RideOnBlog.de shared some high quality pictures of the visible new theming features.

The roof element is part of the 1st launch theming; as seen on the right in the Rookburgh model they revealed back in April.

The brickwork and chimney on the left of the Hotel Charles Lindbergh entrance portal has been finished.

The hotel's access towers (housing lifts and stairs) are being brick themed by Universal Rocks too at the moment, and external decorative work on the hotel rooms has started to create the circular tube room appearance.

Would it matter? As long as they bought the rights
It's more the fact that the buildings obviously will look totally different in real life. In particular, they won't be 150ft tall. I just want detail, and depth. The interior wall with the AirRail Company sign on it looks bad at the moment, so I'm hoping the rest of it looks better.

I think people's outrage is more at the fact it's not custom scenery meaning it isn't reflecting what it will be in real life.

In other words, people are sad that the marketing video is a marketing video and not a concept art video.

I'm sure we can give Phantasialand enough benefit of the doubt that Rookburgh will still feel pretty good though

Yes, but maybe they will still use those designs in the park. Then the marketing video is correct, and some small designer has been supported :D

According to my trailer analysis other buildings are already in the places where those large buildings should go. So it's almost all marketing, apart from some parts (like the Airrail Company wall)
